but who is so stupid to drive a porsche in johannesburg...? i lived 5 years in lima, peru and never would drove there such an expensive car.... specially not together with my wife and 2 kids... because, if you cant get fast enough out of the car, they drive with your whole family away...
Ok, a question for someone in SA. Let's imagine that clip ended differently. I am curious. The Porsche owner this time drives forward after reversing slightly. So - he rams the guy with the gun, knocking him to the ground. The armed attacker lays unconscious on the floor. The Porsche driver gets out quickly, as he stops on the grass the attacker. He runs and picks up the gun, which on the floor. He shoots the attacker for "good measure", killing him instantly. That way, he cannot get back up. The Porsche driver runs the few feet to the side of the BMW hijack car, which is still stationary. He then shoots the driver, who I also assume would be armed. In 2017, with those facts, would the Police let the member of the public off for the 2 shootings? Or would he face criminal charges/jail. Morbid curiosity...
I'm not a South African but pretty sure that exceeds self defense. Just because someone tried to kill you and failed doesn't mean you can kill him. You can only kill another if you're under threat of being killed. For an example, someone brought a knife to stab you and he couldn't and you took his knife. He's trying to run away from you, if you stab him while he attempts to run away, you can be pressed charges for murder. To be proven or not is upto the court but you will be pressed charges for sure
If I was living there and had money, first I would move but if I stayed I would have a dump looking building, it can be nice inside, surrounded by a wall that looks shitty but is strong and I'd drive a beat looking POS with a sleeper under the hood.
janrdoh wow , legit an ego the size of table mountain , no respect towards other human beings , don't try to throw shade now , you know you're in the wrong
Are you going to try and tell me this doesn't happen on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday when this happened and every other day of the week? Sorry bud but this is the new normal in South Africa. Don't know what this has to do with my ego but whatever.
@@tumim9223 Fear of living your country and exploring is the same reason you all feel like foreigners are your problems. You all know the real problems
Perhaps he had some fear cos of the gun. But the aggressive manner in which he reversed shows he intended to ram into their car but the bmw driver reacted quicker and moved out of the way.
This is why innocent people should be armed. Because the criminals are, and they don't care your laws, no matter how incredibly naïve but well-intentioned you may be.
When i was in Durban, I tried to get out my car to purchase something at tat second tat Shop owner run to me and shout pls remove your jewels and put it in ur hand bag immediately....here all thief and no safe....i was so shocked and put my Jewels in handbag and sat inside the car until my manager did all purchase instead of me....worst country even i seen...
Those guys are driving possible 330i bmw as a second car and police will chase these guys with GTI , police need Chevrolet v8 cars and more helicopters to squeeze life out of these thugs, crime will affect tourism and overseas people coming to SA.
I don’t think that was a good idea for the Porsche driver to go away without hurting one of them because the place he was entering is now a target. They may come back stronger and smarter
Wow!! There are so many of these armed robbery/hijacking attempts in S. Africa. It's a stunning place but I'd be too scared to live there. Seeing these videos makes me think about the Blade Runner, Oscar Pistorius. He is guilty of shooting his girlfriend Reeva but I wonder now if he genuinely thought it was an armed intruder. 🤔
