Looks good, I went with all red+ same keychain in red to match my interior. I think I'll do a race livery with the second key.. thanks for the inspiration

I have a friend that did red to match the interior as well. It looks really good. I honestly thought if was over the top to do a race livery for the remote but I really love it

OKAY, I figured it out! at 2:35 (okay I watched a different video to find this, as in the other video, he replaced the rubber buttons as well as the trim) you can see that the entire center section came up with the trim, exposing the entire circuit board and the tiny buttons. In my case (as I am sure it will be with others), the rubber section pulled off of the center portion of the key fob which has sleeves for the rubber buttons... black with three holes in it. if this happens, just use the flat screwdriver to pop it off, then you can take the rubber section and re-install it. The rubber basically has a little lip on the inside and it holds the plastic piece with the sleeves in place as you see in this video. That is the only way you'll get it back together and when it clicks together, you'll slap your forehead it was so easy ... Great video!

Dude!!! Your explanation finally helped me solve it. I was going nuts trying to get the rubber overlay on. Nobody said the black plastic piece underneath came off lol. I watched videos and heard the click when people replaced the rubber keypad and I was like WTF? 😂🙏🏻

How in the world do you make inserting the center section with the buttons look so simple. I can not the buttons to stay in place, the section pops out!. Please elaborate from "working it from front to back"

For the center part you hook the front piece into the grove then push it into place from the front and move back a little pushing it into place and you move towards the back snapping it into place. Does that help or answer your question?

Any chance youd sell that blue cover? I have a blue macan matching that color and have dreamt of having the key cover match. Can't find one in that color though.

@@MTParadise no it’s a brand new GT4RS. The video didn’t show the black piece behind the rubber coming off with the rubber overlay. Now I popped off the plastic piece over the pcb I now figured it out lol. I was trying to push just the rubber overlay on that plastic part with the 4 holes.
