When Porsche decide to build a car in a certain sector of motoring, other manufacturers had better sit up. Porsche rarely get things wrong :-))... Regards from your Number 1 stalker :-))...

Nice video & great car, was lucky enough to have the original model turbo for a few years, awesome drive & would expect the new version turbo to be equally great ! New info system looks much better the only real weakness of the original version ( maybe with the fuel economy) but that's not really why you go for Porsche!

I own a 2015 Macan S. I’ve owned it for 4+ years now. Always kept in a heated garage with no winter problems ever. Well up until winter this week when CHICAGO was hit with -15 F temperatures. Parked the Macan outside, and Upon start up I got the engine light with a message of reduced power, the transmission light came on, message ACC/PAS unavailable, PSM failure and unavailable, AWD system failure with the awd system not working and only rear wheel drive mode. After warming up the Macan for 20 min attempted to drive with the Macan lunging and reving. Happened all 3 days of cold whether. After the weather warmed a few days later on, all the lights went away. But at the same time my other non Porsche vehicles which cost half the price of the Macan started up with no problems at all. This left me a bit disappointed.

Porsche,audi,vw etc do their cold weather testing up here in Alaska. its pretty neat to see the cold weather test vehicles in their camo rolling around in -40 and colder temperatures good video and greetings from way up north

I've been in the queue for the new Macan S, for 12 months now: when will Porsche begin manufacturing them ? Told I should take possession end of March 2019, but others told they will have to wait until May!

Nice review, I mostly agree, Macan is the best driving car of this type, surprised it coped with those conditions on standard tyres - thats if they were standard, not sure it would cope as well as LR vehicles in the mud but how many will actually go off road.

Base Macan is a bit slow. Drive the "S" or the big T turbo for some power and performance. Great car, redefined the luxury crossover segment.

Were those all season tires or were they equipped with winter tires?

While I did love the buttons on the ctr column, now that the Cayenne has gone seamless, it makes this look dated. Plus, for only $10K more, you can buy one, so it's a tough sell IMHO. Still I'd love to have either one, but not until I part w my 911.

I sold my Porsche Macan SD last April as I wanted to buy the facelifted GTS but 9 months later it still isn't available. There is a demand for this car but Porsche are not taking advantage of it. Instead, they are pushing customers to look at other brands.

Thank you for the film work and the review. However, I have no idea how you can call the rear seats "spacious", especially without sitting back there and showing us. it may be spacious by 911 standards, but it is, IMO, the smallest of back seats in the segment. it is the only, and I mean only (other than the price-which i agree is likely close to worth it based on quality)) thing that woyld keep someone (as in me) from buying this car. You are likely 5'9" /5'10" from my viewpoint. I would have, at least, liked to see you sit back there, behind the seat set for you, to see how spacious it really is. I have sat in the rear of a 2018, which I believe is identical in dimensions, behind someone only 5'9 and was crushed (although I am a 6 footer). No review is complete without an "arse' in the rear for a look-see. Thank you.
