When you mention shift through all the gears, are you talking about R, D, N or actually putting it in D and going through 1-7? I don’t have a lift, only ramps and my driveway has a slight slope so I’m not sure how safe it is to invest in a lift and utilizing it there. Thanks for the informative video!
Hi great vid. looking to get a Macan but heard about the transmission oil leak problems. will this solve it. and should the oil leak problem put me off the purchase? Thanks
Oil leak problems on the Porsche Macan was related to the S and the GTS models. It was an oil leak from the timing cover. Porsche covered the repairs under warranty but I don't know if it was a recall or an as needed repair.
I am not sure what the repair will cost in your area. Call a few shops and ask for a quote. It is also a good idea to have them confirm what the issue is.
