If only there's bugatti and koenigsegg owner that willing to lend their cars for such test...... I reckon the factory wouldn't lend their media test car if they're gonna be raced, just like the holy trinity hypercars test only possible with customer owned cars.
The Macan changed the way i looked at SUV's when it comes to the driving experience. Definitely the best SUV out there when it comes to being fun to drive. Also, Matt keep up the great work.
Let's be honest. The fewest of us watch this video because they are really interested in buying this particular car. But it's just nice to watch. Mat, you're doing a great job!
@@FriendlyNeighbourhoodSpideywhile that is certainly true i don't know how would you react it you lent your car to a reviewer who then gives it back to you with scratches. I know they're press cars but a true petrolhead respects cars no matter what. When I drive a rental I treat it just like it was mine.
Great videos, Always fun to watch! , could you also provide a review on the premium/standard sound systems as well and how they fare against their competitors.
That load cover really annoys me.And the used one I brought actually has a manual passenger seat and a electric driving seat????? Check the specks carefully as you may be surprised by the lack of basics.
I’m still stuck on the time the lady asked Mat to film elsewhere and he said no 😂 then the woman said something like, “you’re incredibly rude”. Oh, good times.
Owned this model for 9 months (having had a 996 C4 previously). It’s quick, spacious for two teenagers and on a long run will return 28mpg. Loads of tech and fun to drive.
Had the older one of these . It is a great car for obsessive petrol heads and all those buttons actually made more sense than mutliple menus which are stupid and dangerous Those of you who want a car that is fast, refined and has decent space will be disappointed. Its fast and handles well, but road noise is just hdeous and wearing and if Matt was objective he would tell you about that. But he didn't. If you have bothered to read this - you have been warned.
I took delivery of one on 1st March 2020, replacing a GLC 63S. Unfortunatel lockdown means I'm not driving it as much as I'd like. However, it's a fantastic car and I love it! It might start at £69k but options are easy to add, plus there's the UK's rather steep first registration fees too! So mine cost £79k and I was quite modest with the spec!!
Would like to see a comparison between this, the X3M (orX4M) and the AMG GLC 63... theMacan always won in the past, but I feel the other German brands have made huge strides lately.
It would be great if you could talk about the reliability and maintenance of the car. Like would it be more expensive to maintain or less expensive, compared to its rivals?
The only issue is that the USB ports are all Type-C no legacy USB-A. At least have one as the legacy type port instead of using a 12v USB charger, unless you intend to charge an iPad which you must use 12v.
Fair review Mat. I looked at original 5 years ago. 3 tall teenagers and luggage forget it. Down to 1 kid and a dog now. Both throw up all the time but I love driving it and the mix of digital and analogue interior. Only suggestion would be sports exhaust on/off on road not just valve click. Sport + is naughty but nice and not offensive for today’s PC world.
Was gonna comment for this too haha. While watching I was already stressed out when we was agitating that freaking stick next to the car and of course he hit it -_- almost had a heart attack.
In Switzerland, the model presented in this video will cost you a bit more then 132'000CHF (according to their configurator). That is a lot of money. The "Basic" Turbo version starts at 121'300CHF ( that is £101'000!). That is 47% more for the same thing. Talking about being ripped off. In the US, this imported car that traveled all over the ocean, for them starts at 84'600USD ( £64'550) or 77'000CHF without taxes (83'200CHF would be with the VAT).
Seeing how this guy is "handling" the cars he reviews, i wouldn't let him come anywhere near my car. Absolutely no respect for other people's cars. Not nice.
The majority of car buyers are not that dedicated to how many seconds it takes to get to 60, it just does not come in to the day to day driving equation. Comfort, safety, fuel economy and looks is way ahead of speed, that's left to the kiddy racers.
Mat on a television interview Interviewer: so mat, why do you think you deserve to get the job Mat: click on the top right corner of the screen to find out
I just want to say that as a recent subscriber from the US, I watch this channel more for Mat than the overpriced or unavailable cars. However, I do like the reviews immensely
Don’t get why touch screens became a trend in the automotive world. Trying to touch points on a screen rather than pressing buttons requires more of your time and attention which means taking your eyes off the road and lose attention from driving. Completely useless and dangerous.
Nice Editing touch there with the engine stats! Keep up the nice work! :) Although, the audio is a bit hit & miss. It's not loud enough compared to other channels at identical volume levels; also echoes at certain points.
