We have spent an incredible few days in Port Barton Palawan, you have to stop off at this quiet town before heading to El Nido. We flew into Porta Princessa airport, got a minivan transfer, and spent a few days enjoying this beautiful part of the island. We did the Island Hopping Tour and swam with a turtle, explored White Beach (voted one of the best beaches in the Philippines), and tried the local restaurants. This is the perfect place for chilling out and relaxing, but there are also some parties here for the backpackers that want them.
This was our cheapest accommodation in the Philippines, staying at Theresa's guest house, we are kicking ourselves a bit for not filming the room because it was so lovely and the family who runs the guest house could not be more accommodating, we definitely recommend staying here.
In next week's vlog we are heading up to El Nido to explore one of the most popular areas in the Philippines so stay tuned to see what we think of it.
