Network protocols use specific ports. When traffic comes from the internet to your network you need to configure where that traffic goes. Port Forwarding allows you to point specific port to specific IP Addresses one you're LAN.
I've recently been trying to brush up on all of my computer knowledge and skills for some IT job hunts, and your videos have literally been god tier. I've probably binged around 30 of your videos over the past week and a half now, over half of those being your course-length videos. Thank you so much, Eli. You teach concepts so fluently and make them so understandable and easy to digest. You honestly teach better than most of the professors who taught in college. Keep up the fantastic work, Eli. You're awesome and inspiring.
