Hey Old EL guy here ok........ so lets reminisce a bit and catch up some 50 years later.. Back in the day this was a four track line starting at and controlled by SF Tower. "Leaning tower of Suffern". A lot went on back in the early EL -mid 70's at this place. Most if not all of Hillburn yard still remains to this day. 5 NJT passenger layover tracks and the five remaining freight Ford Mahwah assembly plant yard are used by NS to this day. Oh can't forget the old Piermont branch that is still alive.
Awesome catches of the Central Railroad of New Jersey GP40PH-2 4109 Heritage Unit as well as the other Metro North trains Ian. 4109 looks better on a full solid Metro North set then a full solid NJT set imo
