There are a lot of parks in Port Kennedy and we didn't have time to visit them all. We didn't see a tank but that doesn't mean it's not still there.

@MrRichardhood, I live here in Port Kennedy (a.k.a. PK) and have done since 1994 and I would have to say that Secret Harbour (a.k.a. Secrets) is slightly nicer but not necessarily better. When both suburbs were starting out, there were more restrictive covenants on the land in Secrets, meaning generally speaking the houses are a little larger and catered for a slightly more affluent group of home buyers at the time. Having said that the blocks are all about the same size. Secrets is about 14% more expensive than PK but honestly there isn't a lot between them. Both have good to great golf courses with the Links at Port Kennedy rated at number three in the state (it was designed by Ian Baker-Finch and at one stage the highest rated public access course in the country) and Secret Harbour at number 13. The sporting complex shown is literally on the border between PK and Secrets. There is a surf beach at Secrets vice a dog beach and nudist beach at PK and good fishing at both. There are good bike paths along the coast in PK but not Secrets. Secret Harbour has its own shopping centre with Coles, Aldi, Woolworths and Dan Murphys while PK has two (the one shown with a small IGA and a second with a super IGA). I personally use Secrets, but we also have Warnbro Fair shopping complex about the same distance in the opposite direction with Coles, Woolworths and Big W. There is a well established skate park right next to the shown shopping centre, and towards the northern end of the suburb a newly constructed dog park as well. Like every suburb, we have less than desirable people, but generally it is a quiet, pleasant place to live with a reasonable sense of community.
