Saw these on sale for only €200, totally worth it at that price Optician had never seen one, but gladly wanted to make the lenses for their normal price (€75x2), can't wait for them to be finished 😊
Thanks for sharing your knowledge from spending what must have been a long time with these. You really speak from hands-on experience and the thoroughness of the video does show. Another successful video that is very helpful for anyone remotely curious about these glasses.
That's the thing with these, the price on them are just high enough where it wouldn't be an "impulse buy" for a lot of people. But just low enough that they are very tempting to get into. But like you said, it would have to be for someone that knows they are going to use them a fair bit. If you commuted by train or bus quite often. Or, if you only had one TV in the house shared with spouse/kids it could be a very cheap but quite excellent OLED screen to game on. Can never go wrong with a UGreen charger either haha
Yeah I already got the XREAL and I'm glad they added 120Hz support. I'm not going to upgrade these until they make a 1440p display though as what they have out this year isn't that big of a change. Also I have the same controller connector for the GO. You're putting them on backwards. 😊 It's supposed to show the Legion Go silhouette in the front instead. Edit: Also I use a 180 degree right angle adaptor on the bottom USB-C port. This is the best solution imo as you could angle it to have enough clearance. I use a USB-C adaptor on the top for power and accessories. The bottom would be the display out if using strictly a USB-C cable. My adaptor on the top would have either a DP our HDMI out. DP out would be best to retain VRR out though, along with USB-C.
Yeah the xreals seem like a good buy, even the TCL ones. Also, thank you so much for the comfort grips. I am an idiot haha. I agree about not needing to get a new pair, 1440p could be nice but rip handheld gameplay at that
Great video - can you have multiple monitors in the glasses? As a day trader, I want a multiple monitor replacement for travel. Comparing with the ASUS AirVision M1 that has yet to come out. Thanks
