@@bermchasin There is a full video on my RU-vid channel step-by-step instructions on how this is made. So subscribe to my channel and go see the step-by-step instructions. There even has the parts that you need on it. Thanks for watching.
@@PROAMOUTDOORS I watched the full video! Maybe I missed it but I didn't see you mention the friction fit aspect of it. I'll rewatch and subscribe though, as this was a great easy build. Only modification I had to make was for my transducer , I squished the end piece rather than stretching it around since my mounts were different. Also using an adjustable depth boom rod.
I just made one of these, well...im on the last step, cutting the handle from the transducer rod. Curious - do you have anything to help lessen the friction between the PVC? I tried some common grease and lubricant and found it actually siezed more. For now I just dont insert them very much. Would like some adjustibility on the depth though, to account for different weights, waterlines etc.
All you need is an inch to 2 inches lower than the bottom of your kayak you can Watch the full video on my RU-vid channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lZJmM32Q7jE.html
Why would you ever want to adjust your transducer up and down in the water? All you need is for the transducer to clear the hull of your boat and you’re golden.
Here’s the full build video of that transducer mount you’ll like the way it to made. Hope you like and subscribe, thanks ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lZJmM32Q7jE.htmlsi=kcntFezpEgerEJ_Z
