A tip for gluing boards & not letting them slip. Sprinkle a small bit of table salt. Makes a great 3rd hand.

What size bits did you use to drill the holes? Mainly the holes for the pegs to go in.

Australia William who cares about your place. This is his workshop his video. We aren't watching this Video to examine his place. This video is about how to replace the boards. I didn't even notice the background. Leave the guy alone. He comfy in his place. To him it works. He knows where stuff is. Back off let him be. He did a great job at his video

19mm dog holes? I’ve watched a couple other videos and they say 20mm. Is your bench a black and decker workmate? How’d the dogs fit?

Schön gemacht. Sollte ich bei meiner auch mal machen. Allerdings ist dort noch eine Kurbel kaputt.

+DrCRAZY Danke!

Great work I want to make this BUT instructions would help as we don't know what your using and stuff. I know u copied the boards but aside from taking the iPad to the store whT was that liquid and the drill bit. Stuff like that would help. I'm smart enuf that I can figure it out but others might not. Again great job I'm gonna make it for mine

I have to replace the boards on my workmate, but im curious , why laminate 2 plys instead of just using a 2x ?
@woodandstuff
@woodandstuff 8 лет назад
I only had 10mm plywood at home haha :D. Thicker material would have worked too and saved me some time even. Thanks for the comment!

LOL Ah I got you, ok cool, thought there was a hidden reason for it. thanks for the reply
@woodandstuff
@woodandstuff 8 лет назад
Maybe if the boards are bent, you could counter this by laminating to pieces together. Other than that: use what you have haha

Solid wood could split when you clamp a project in the back dogs. Plywood will not split because of the different layers running at 90 degrees to each other.

What model and brand is this?
@woodandstuff

I seriously have no idea haha, look for offerings in retailers (like Aldi or Hofer or something similar). As long as they are kind of stable, you can improve these workbenches quite a lot with new boards and additional struts if necessary...

Why do people spoil their video by putting rubbish music on them.

hi why do you store your tools on the floor? Why didn't you put the Finnish on before you bolted to the base? Why is there so much rubbish on the floor?
@woodandstuff
@woodandstuff 7 лет назад
There is honestly not a real reason to any of your points :D I've got too much stuff and don't want to bother all the time

wood and stuff okay but a nice clean workshop makes you feel better and do better work,a disorganised shop is both disheartening and dangerous ,thanks for your response.i wish I could send you a picture of mine a place for everything everything in its place.it inspires me to do everything the best I can.
