@@matveytsarichansky8953 the hitbox is axis aligned and does not rotate as i spin the character around. the hitbox will only rotate when it intersects a prop like shown in the video, and it will only rotate in that direction.

Does hitbox rotation save?

it is reset upon loading a save (even if the hitbox was rotated when you saved) or entering a new level. it also resets if you "step" onto an elevated surface without jumping (this is why i jump over the bottom of the doorframe at 6:35)

I have never heard of this before. Do all other Source games have a prop hitbox like this and works similar to Portals?

afaik all source games use this method to handle prop physics interactions. idk if this glitch is present in other games but i would imagine it is

@@ItsYee64 hitboxes can be shown with “ent_bbox player”. Third person is done with the SAR plugin (github.com/p2sr/SourceAutoRecord/releases ) and the command “sar_cam_control”. Join the portal 2 speedrunning discord if you have any questions about SAR
