Thanks for the video. I have not seen that trailing arm failure before. Looks to be a bad weld from the get-go. Then the hydro-steer blew a seal. Jeez, what a week-end! A few nights in the shop and you'll be ready for the next one :)

My thoughts are it's tough to call that a portal cause failure, your machine has seen a few rock piles previously, and the radius rod just wasn't having any of the pole vault. I liked the group ride for more comparison's.
I wouldn’t say that’s the portals fault at all. I feel like it was a weak spot on the trailing arm for sure. I’ve seen a video of it breaking in the same spot on a stock machine. But yours aren’t stock.. but still a weak spot in general where it necks down.
