@@alamrasyidi4097 no not really, acurate chell is stuborn, unaturally so, meaning she won't be listening to any of them really, and won't really hesitate to make a choice, but there are some good stuff here, like the poker faces -_-
I love that at 1:19 Wheatley begins talking like he has a logical rebuttals against her, she gives him the floor, is surprised when he mentions Chell’s hand then realizes he’s just saying press the button and rolls her eyes in annoyance
1:32 hearing the platforms pushing you in the background as she's telling you, you're "doing things" makes me imagine Chell is actually breaking stuff while GLaDOS is scolding her. It's crazy how much dialogue is missed in this game by immediately acting and it's awesome how the animation here creates accurate body language from how they sound. These types of videos work especially well in the scenes like this where you're not focusing on the characters behind you and more so rushing or panicking for your life.

I’m glad you folks enjoy a fantastic woke game. Science is a leftist thing and a progressive thing. And portal 1 and 2 and half life 1 and 2 are fantastically written woke diverse and leftist games. Fantastic game. Great female characters that conservatives fear. If they do make a portal 3 they need to have some more science stuff like a trans person and a intersex persons added as new characters and make the games more scientifically woke awesome.

I love the short bursts of panic on GlaDos' face, it really contrasts to the otherwise apathetic and authoritative expression you usually give her, amazing work as always!
Maggie there are no words to compare how far you've come in your animations! Everything you did is so well thought out, from the body language of a stoic scientist Glados to the fumbling bumbling moron thats Weathley. Even your silent protagonist Chell is such a action-ready gal on her facial expressions.
I still theorize that when GLaDoS crushed wheatley earlier on, it broke his "Moron" functionality. Think about it, all his plans after that moment but before he was put in charge... Were actually SMART. Planning to take out the turrets and Neurotoxin BEFORE reaching her chamber, keeping himself in hiding, etc. But after being plugged in to the mainframe directly, his software was patched and fixed. His evil laugh was at this time, where his functionality came back on line.
i like to think of it that Wheatley is pretty smart but he's programmed to make stupid decisions. The most stupid decisions here include: Facing GLaDOS Kicking her out of the mainframe (she's the only one who knows what she's doing) Wheatley entering the mainframe (he doesn't know what he's doing after that) Like think about it. Instead of letting Chell go, he decided to antagonize her instead. That's the worst possible decision to make
I dont know why, but i prefer this to the original scene. The facial expressions and body movement/language make the VA lines much more well delivered.
Might be a little weird but... thanks for making these. Portal and Portal 2 are still my favorite games to this day and it cheers me up seeing videos like this still being made. 😁
Can't wait for Core Change 3! The sound design for GLaDOS during the transfer is so unnerving, and almost heartbreaking to hear. I'm excited to see how you animate it.
This animation is very well done. I actually just finished Portal 2 and I got to say this was one of my favorite parts of the game. It’s nice seeing it in an animated form.
I love the decision to have Wheatley climb into a hole in the floor. Really adds to the panic when he asks to be yanked. If i had to suggest one thing it would be to play with the angle and pose of Glados, in the game she likes to lean in and physically loom over whoever she's talking to.
Wheatley's face as he starts shouting "PULL ME OUT" is hilarious oml. xD Also seeing Glados genuinely grin when the stalemate happens is weirdly uncanny.
Wheatley is a perfect example of how much a voice actor can change the perception of a character. I would've definetely not designed him like this from hearing the German dub, in which Wheatley is voiced by the same guy who also voices Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel films. And the VA also gave Wheatley some of that attitude it seemed xD
God I love this your the only person ever in the history of ever to make this work and I love the animations keep up the impeccable work (though remember not to over work yourself)
I love your design for wheatley! It's so cute and dorky. I also love how well you manage to characterize him! This animation literally only makes me kin him more!
