looks like that thing cuts pretty nice from what i can see. of course if you are anything like me thers a big learning curve in chainsaws, how to file , use , and the list goes on and on. seems like its jumping a bit and struggling some possibly because the rakers are filed too low
The rakers are stock, and the chain has been sharpened once by hand with a 13/64 (STIHL) file. I believe Oregon uses a 7/32. Either way, I agree it is a bit jumpy. I have other OE 372xp's, and I'm just seeing what I can do with this X-torq for now. I appreciate the comment, and thanks for watching.
@@woodcutter4481 look forward to the next video. seems likea pretty decent saw from wgat i can see . by far im no expert but i'll keep an eye out for the content
@BrennanRaihl I'll keep playing with the porting on it. The cylinder is in rough shape, but I do like the saw. I have a nice cylinder to copy the porting on when I'm happy with this one. Thank you
Totally agree with you. I won this blown-up saw off Ebay before I really knew the difference between OE and x-torq. I was going to convert it to OE, but I decided to repair the cylinder and see what I could do with it for now. I appreciate the comment, and thanks for watching!
