Some cylinder out of the box have a ring at the very top of the cylinder that is a little bigger than the bore ..if you machine too much out of the squish band the piston ring will snag in it or bleed off compression

Why not a 357 or a 359 cylinder on that saw ? I have a couple of them and been thinking about trying one or the other but just haven't yet become the still run so good .
