It's a scrap he made back in 2013 around the start of his career. They where confirmed to be his, though he wished to deny it he used samples of these songs in some of his concerts and live mixes.

@@a_ndy2837 @Stone Brunner Except this is an actual song written from 2011-2014 that was leaked back in 2017 along with some other unreleased tracks and demos. It's one of the many songs that he scrapped, along with songs like Song For You, Sounds For Lonely People, OSTTT (a collab with Madeon), and there were demo/old versions of songs that he had wound up actually releasing, like Shelter, Sad Machine, Years of War, etc. There were songs from previous live shows as well. Porter's management wrote, "Recently, a server was hacked which contained Porter Robinson demos from the years 2011-2014, as well as some more recent live show related music files. The leak contains nothing that Porter is currently working on, nor anything that was planned for future release. The leaked music represents very old demos / ideas that Porter never intended to release at any time." It's good to be skeptical of what you find on the internet but before calling somebody "fucking cringey" you should at least do some research on a topic. On top of this, XDX didn't say his career started in 2013, he said this song was written in 2013, TOWARDS THE START of his career. Porter released under the name Ekowraith prior to 2011, before becoming Porter Robinson in 2011 and releasing Spitfire on Skrillex's OWSLA label. Some of what was leaked was probably fake. However, we know for a fact that most of it was real but was never intended to go public. So it's fine to have an opinion but you should do some research before calling others out for having their own, especially when their opinion is way more credible than your own. And think about it this way, maybe this is why Porter decided not to release the track, because he thought fans would dislike the lead on the song or something.
