Manny Pacquiao cannot concentrate on his boxing at this point because of his ambition to become a President of the Philippines, his endgame will determine his future in dirty politics, but I prefer him to just stay in his legend Boxing.
@@bblwarrantydepartment981 nothing to do with appearance more so to do with the fact he gets punched in the head for a living 🤣 and let's be honest, Porter has taken a lot of punches over the years. I was surprised how well he speaks too.
Pacquiao's punching power being compared to a scorpion sting makes perfect sense. It paralyses you for one instant and you have to get out the way before the venom takes hold. Sharp speed based pain.
@@PaulMatthewMusic1 honestly yes i hope it is not. I want them all to fight to be honest with you. I want thurman, porter, spence, mickey, taylor, maybe teofimo, all fight crawford. We all want crawford to be tested while he is in his prime. We just want good competition.
I totally agree... Manny is fully supported by his home country, and loved by millions of fans around the world. Even if he loses, he's still (arguably) one of the greatest to ever lace up the gloves AND will still be the only 8-division champion in boxing history. He became a hall-of-famer years ago, so a loss in this fight won't even put a scratch on his legacy.
@@mitmit804 the point of this argument on these comments is that Pac is the GOAT. U sarcastically say Pac losses don’t affect his legacy. U are basically saying his 7 losses are the reason he can’t be the GOAT so I’m stating if his 7 losses affect his legacy in a bad way then why are Ali’s FIVE LOSSES ok and he is still in the GOAT conversation? If losses disqualified a boxer then Ali and Ray Robinson should not be in the GOAT convo either. All I’m saying is u gota keep the same criteria for ALL fighters.
ellie's question at the interview is Just like a curious school boy ....but at the same time the answer we were waiting in his question is really interesting.....good work elie
Great analysis! This guy gave a lot of sides and angles to the fight. Love it!!!🤩🤩🤩 Fans will win this one! 😂 this is goin to be one of those great fights! Might be the last one for Manny too.
It doesn’t really come down to who hits hardest. It comes down to who can survive the hit. With Manny, it’s who can level out his speed and deal with his rhythm and then his power. Accumulative damage is more dangerous.
Very intelligent and humble, a super knowledgeable boxing analyst. A dam tough fighter and very good boxe too. Great for the sport of boxing. More power to you boss Shawn! Peace :)
Consider the factor that he spared with manny with 14 oz glove with a headgear. While when he had spence its a 10oz gloves without a headgear. And roach even mention that porter got dropped on the sparring.
@@shawnblackwell2143 Pacquiao wears punchers gloves, stuffed with horse hair. Sounds like Thurman and a lot of these modern Welterweights wear soft, foam padded gloves. I remember Morales made pacquiao wear foam gloves for their first fight but in the second and third fight, Pacquiao got to wear his Reyers.
First time hearing him talk. I think he'd be a good ringside announcer. He knows what he's talking about, thoughtful in his answers and just seem like a really likable guy. I like when boxers can break things down and not act cocky or hating on other boxers, but actually describe to us nonboxers what to look for and so on. Great insights. Looks kind of like Kevin durant to me though.
Errol has a big strong punch, but can he catch Manny with that slow strong punch?. Thurman has a big strong punch too but Manny took it like a champ and never got down. Now the question is, can Errol keep up with Manny's speed? can he take Manny's not so strong punch but very fast and paralyzing punch. Remember Thurman went on canvass from Manny's right hand not the left.
@@paulclark208 exactly, and whats more interesting is this computation. Manny's Punch = 50kg, Errol =75kg so Errol has 50% more heavier puncher then Manny but Manny's punch velocity = 3m/s and Errol spence punch is velocity = 1m/s or lets say 2m/s. Please compute the Kinetic energy of their punch using the formula( 0.5 x mass x velocity squared )
look at this -- porter.. a former champion, gone head to head w/ both spence & pac.. still : "I don't know who'd win in this fight!" what an honest, straight unassuming guy...
It's the opposite, Spence is like a Solid thud since he's big, Manny is like Shock impact since his small, he relies on micro contraction before the impact to make his punch fast and shocking. Like Mosley said Manny punch is like a weird kungfu thing.
@@joys8634 yeah no surprise Manny is the underdog so it would be an upset if Manny wins. Spence is a strong smart fighter, also he always conserve his energy by picking shots carefully. But I'm Cheering for the Old Legend Pac it might be Manny's last fight so I'm gonna sit and watch the game for sure.
Porter wasn't comparing their punches, the reporter asked who was 'stronger' as in physical strength. Danny Garcia says that Spence is physically strong but that he doesn't punch with much power, most fighters who've fought either of them and been asked seem to think Pacquiao hits with more power. Algieri who's fought both of them thinks the gap in power is very significant. Describes Pacquiao as having 1 punch knockout power. I think Thurman's the only fighter I've seen claim that Spence hits with a lot of power, but he's never fought or sparred with Spence. Where as those that have don't including Mikey Garcia don't think Spence hits with power.
Porter is honest and.explains it all.well! Manny stings like.a.scopian and it.all adds up as Porter spoke about it! Duke of EARL is stronger - question is who will last longer?!
not each other, only porter got floored by manny several times. look it up theres an article about it roach said he got floored but stood up and did caught manny with a nice hooks.
Been told everyone you don’t gotta show or use your true speed for fights. Once you really learn them you can make them fight your fight. Watch Errol do exactly that!!
