Apple's iPod would be a cash cow (not a lot of growth but they have 75% of the market). They use that iPod money to invest in new products like iPads and iPad minis or AppleTV does that make any sense?

market growth is the year on year increase in size of the overall market. Coca cola IS everywhere but since they are everywhere it is hard for them to have a large amount of growth, so coke only grows a little bit every year. But tablet computers are BOOMing right now and growing very fast with a high growth rate, that is why ipads are a star for apple. does that help?

Great video i have a question if i am asked to write a portfolio matrix of a specific company say a car showroom then should i place the company in 1 of the 4 quadrants and only write about the company in question mark because that is where its situation in the market is or judge the company on all 4 of the concepts
