The geisha is my favourite! Oh and the birds, they are all beautiful 😊 I really enjoyed the Van Gogh challenge and thank you so much for the shout out and your kind words 😊😊😊
🙌💞🙌Love the portfolio tour David awesome work! One of my favorite was the Gotham city on the black canvas it is so beautiful!! Also your mom rocked that wine glass😊👏👏I really enjoy seeing that you like to experiment with your art to grow as an artist. Thank you so much for the shout out as well! That really means the world to me💞 😊 I need to do a portfolio tour on my page also just gotta get all my stuff together and sorted out.
Thanks Hope! The Gotham city was a fun experiment, looking at them this way makes me want to revisit some of those styles with the tools I have now. And yes! Portfolio tour!! 😊
Ahh I don’t rlly have a way to be contacted at the moment. I would love to collab one day it would be awesome, but I’m pretty crammed with school right now sadly!
Hey David, I missed your challenge but I'll keep an eye for the next ones 🤗 I wanna say you that I really enjoyed your portfolio walk-through and I love when you play with vibrant colors and/or contrasts the most. Think about that because I have a tendency to make everything really dark and so I find your colorful pieces are amazing. Like gotham city, the pink vase, the bird everybody was happy with, van Gogh paints..you know 😊 I'm currently work with black and white but I'm finding so hard to apply colors over.. I know it's a fundamental, for the values but that's really so hard for me I'm actually thinking about no colors at all😔 so great artworks, I really enjoyed this video ❤️.
Thanks! Yes, if you're struggling with values working in black and white for a while will help you a lot. If you're interested I could do a video explaining in depth how to glaze over a black and white underpainting, which is my preferred method of action. I could also do some grayscale studies and exercises that have helped me a lot. Let me know if that's something that you'd find useful 😊
David Cavallin that's would be great I think not just for me but for everyone, especially the studies! I'm not really struggling with values I mean but I know the grayscale base is an important study, I don't like it at all so I'll be very very happy to listen what you think I should know about it since you like it!! 💕
Thanks! My mom was my first art enabler lol. There was always plenty of scrap paper, colored pencils, crayons, tempera, markers, etc. around the house growing up 😊
