In the case of ellen and portia it might be expensive, yes. First, they are lesbians, so they need to buy the sperm. Then, if we suppose that portia is the one who would be carrying that baby in her womb (ellen obviously cant for and age matter, plus she is the male in the relationship), she has to make sure her eggs are ok (she is not that young either). If yes, she has to undergo an insemination process, that costs money too. If not, they also have to buy the egg and make an ivf, which costs even more. In case portias eggs are fine but she doesnt want to be pregnant, they might also want to hire a surrogate. Even more money. And so on and so forth.

It's not a mental disorder to lose your accent. Robert Pattinson lost his english accent after shooting Twilight, just because he's only been speaking in an Anerican accent for so long. He had to see a vocal coach to get it back. It's not a mental disorder. Portia has been in America for a long time and she's been having to use an American accent more than her normal one so it's faded a bit. Being gay isn't bad for you. No-one gets hurt when two gay people get together.

Stop saying "str8 up son" you sound like a bloody invalid. And I bet you wouldn't lose your accent because 1) chinese accents are difficult to pick up unless you speak Chinese, and 2) most people in China can only speak Chinese. So you'd have trouble hearing a Chinese accent speaking English.
