Nice job

You should mirror polish the exshaust port but the intake port should be rough. Sand blasting the port with medium to course grit is the best. It makes more power because it atomizes the fuel better. We’ve proved this on the dyno many times. But good job. Looks good.

Nice, but when you removed the short and long radius on the intake, you created a crash for flow. It will not Swirl the atomized air around the valve stem.

I went wider on the beginning of the intake port and tapered it . But I didn’t go too big to where the gasket wouldn’t seal . Definitely felt a difference compared to a narrower intake port . I think as long as you keep the throat smaller it should be cool .

Just remember your intake can’t be larger than your intake valve ! More cc than you need will definitely slow u down most noticeable on bottom end…

I was wrong with my previous comment. Kinda. There was other areas I had to open up .

Your defiantly gonna want to unshroud those valves. Thats like 30% of the valve that not gonna flow it true potential

i appreciate the advice. i tried blending that edge for better flow but i’m sure there’s a lot of cfm to be had by opening up a little around the valve. i would just have to see how much room i have until i’m at the head gasket. something i’ll definitely take a look at next time the head is off or the next big valve head i do! Thanks for watching!

Great video young man and that go kart is lighting FAST!! Question, those sanding dremel bits that you had in that big plastic case that had 120-180 grit, did you buy that in a kit and if ya did where can I buy one or is it something you put together over time? Keep up the good work. 🫡
