i have a 92 park ave, my supercharger pulley some how broke off.... i am currently lookin into changing it but cant remove the section where the pulley is at without having to remove the whole supercharger..... if removing the supercharger is the case would i need to buy new gaskets even though the one i have is still in good condition??
JUST FYI. This does nothing to make more power from these. You are thinking " naturally aspirated" not "blown". You just increased flow yes but, also intake plenum volume and none of that transferes to making the m90 more efficient or gain any power.
Lord dark raider? Are you talking from experience? or just theories because in reality they were poorly cast and did not have the of development of newer variations and porting the intake along with the outlet improves the performance of these marginally when stock but also makes a big difference on higher boost and power levels and that’s a well proven fact!! there’s quite a few of these doing pretty reasonable times in cars to back up the theory! That being said this port job would have seen little if no gains!
@@needmoreboost6369 I basically took the sharpe edge off from the rough casting and made it a bit smoother. Max would have been 1mm. 10 years ago when I did this there wasn't a lot of information regarding porting, it was more about improving the air flow, so that's all I did.
@@b3n189 nice doing it on a mill too I’d just tear in with a die grinder lol and a fair bit more aggressive on the amount removed too! had mine apart today just coated the rotors and housing but never bothered porting it as it’s bone stock…this week anyway! I see the appeal in putting it in a boat though most suggest to put it in the front tied to a rope
