In the fourth video of BikeBerry's Porting Masterclass series, Tony takes us through the process of port matching the exhaust header to enhance engine efficiency. This video is perfect for those looking to optimize their motorized bicycle's exhaust flow for better performance.
Tony begins by emphasizing the importance of fast and efficient exhaust flow. He demonstrates how to match the exhaust expansion chamber's opening to the cylinder head's port, using the BBR Deluxe expansion chamber as an example. This process involves cleaning up and enlarging the gasket opening to match the port, ensuring maximum exhaust flow.
Using a variety of tools, including a Dremel with a carbide bit and different sanders, Tony shows how to remove excess metal and smooth out the exhaust opening. He provides tips on using a marker for guidance and the importance of working at an angle to avoid the bit zipping around.
The video also covers the use of a file for finishing touches, ensuring everything is smooth and fits the shape of the gasket. Tony's detailed explanation makes it easy to understand and follow along.
As Tony wraps up, he reiterates the goal of achieving maximum efficiency in these engines by ensuring perfect mating of each side. He invites viewers to share their thoughts, questions, and any porting tricks they might have.

Thanks for the video! Also two things: do you know what kind of rear sprocket the new stinger has and also do you know if any aftermarket exhausts fit on the stinger? THanks

I port/polish my nitro engines and it makes a huge difference in performance and we can also tune with different types of mufflers to move the torque curve! These motors look like a scaled up version of what we use. What fuels do these use, we use 20-30% nitro blend in ours? I loved the video man!

Hey Tony I have an old crankcase spare not sure what the cc rating was as the head and piston are long gone. Could I put a new piston head etc on without any trouble? I'm picking it was possibly a 50cc

I got a little round red gasket with my v2 and can’t figure out what it’s for. Is it for the spark plug?
