Loved this video! Your top 4 is my top 4! I've been buying PLG for 3-4 years which has yielded a collection that I honestly am overwhelmed by, as I make very little use of the vast majority of what I have. The timing of this could not be more perfect in giving me the nudge I need to de-stash bags as I work toward my goal of simplifying many aspects of my life and embracing "less is more" in regard to a LOT of things. Just ordered my Nutmeg Backpack Tote today for Thanksgiving (happy holidays to me!) less than 1 week after ordering my 1st PLG, a Honey Lola CB Zippered Tote. I'm already looking at the black backpack (what's happening?!). Nervous about the scratches on the smooth leathers. You're so good at these explanations!

You inspired me to get my cognac triangle shoulder bag, and I use it as a diaper bag, with the crossbody strap! I’ve been using it all year, and it looks perfect still! ❤❤❤ Edit to add: I also got my SIL a nutmeg Lola for her birthday, and I’m planning to get my sister a honey bucket bag for Christmas!

I enjoyed your video all of your favorite bags are so cute. I just bought my first PLG bag. I received it last week. It is the medium tote zipper in cold brew I love it and the smell is so amazing. I was torn between the small or the medium but I’m glad I chose the medium because you never how much room you will need lol. Anyway thanks for showing this video. 😊👜🍁🌻🌷👛

I wished I had listened to you before I purchased. I ordered the Deep Water in a mini cb, w/zipper. It is too small as a structured bag, I still like it . I’d like a larger bag , but you raise a good point for structure in a larger bag. Good video.

I want the nutmeg circle but all the other photos I’ve seen look caved in, which is fine but not my ideal. Yours is perfect!

My most used is my honey full sided crossbody tote, that I totally was inspired by you to purchase. I’ve carried it to work everyday for over a year. My weekend errands carry is usually my mini crossbody in dune. It has a zipper (bought it Pre-loved after dune was discontinued). I’ve way slowed down my purchasing from there but I love and use the bags I have daily. I’m bummed to hear they don’t give you an affiliate link anymore. You definitely have been an awesome ambassador for their brand.

My first purchase from them was a mini crossbody mystery box and I got the Sugar color. I love the squishiness of it and the pebbling. However I did find a Grizzly Mini Crossbody tote and I love the structure of that one too! I would say the mini is definitely my favorite style.

Hi, can you pretty please do a short video on the Mini tote vs Triangle bag?! I have a triangle bag and want to exchange it for the mini tote bag but want to make sure it's a similar size!

I like the tote i got from them, but when i tried to order another bag...... crickets. They have the slowest shipping ever, and some of the worst customer service reps. The CEO is skeevy AF too. Eww. Just eww.

I absolutely love the look of their bags, but I cannot use them because they smell way too strong. I’m not sure what they treat their leather with, but I cannot stand the smell. It bums me out because they are beautiful.

I started buying (collecting?) PLG after watching your videos! My first was a Nutmeg Butterfly, and I think it is probably my favorite style, although I also like the Triangle. Nutmeg is such a wonderful leather! I don't have a circle, yet, which is weird because I love smaller bags like the Eclipse and Toaster. Might have to get one next if it comes out in a fun new color! I love how simple the bags are, without a lot of fussy hardware or compartments. I can't believe how many I have acquired in just a year's time! I think I have bought half of what I have from re-sellers so I can get the colors that I want, but I do love all the browns--classic and go with everything! I have also given them as gifts and everyone loves them!

Hi!! Love your videos! Do you ever have a problem with your PLG bags rubbing on your other pouches/wallets in your bag with the unfinished leather? I have the tote backpack in smooth black leather and no matter what I do, the leather rubs off on my shirts and on my pouches inside of my bag. Do you have any suggestions on how to remedy this? Hi Sam, I am wondering if you try using your filofax zip Malden horizontally in the circle bag if it would fit??The large circle has been a bag I have been interested in for awhile. just haven't been sure how it would pack horizontally??

That tote backpack is beautiful!

My most used PLG bag is my Mini CB zip. Most used one is Sedona (similar to Nutmeg, very pebbled) and Beluga (smooth/soft/slightly brushed for when I wear very light colored clothing. I like my Coldbrew (dark brown pebbled) or Sangria (very pebbled) large Luna for quick trips when I don't need to carry much. For when I need to carry extra items (seldom), I carry my Sangria medium classic crossbody, my Cinnamon Bear (big pebbles) Market Tote, or my Maple medium tote (gorgeous even/large pebbles) or my Nimbus large Lola. Many of these bags I've mentioned are for more casual carries; if I want to be less casual, I might choose either my Raindrop or Rainstorm (both in brushed black) or either Lola (small Merlot, brushed leather) or large Nimbus one already mentioned. I'm not a fan of several PLG styles, including the circle bags, Nora, and Kangaroo.

Love my PLG bags. My medium crossbody in sunflower is a favorite. My small circle bag in tulip is a fun summer bag when you don’t need to carry much.

I stopped buying plg after receiving My medium Sedona tote. I have a mini nutmeg and a small sipper honey tote along with the Sedona. I actually started buying GFG and I'm loving their quality. I'm planning on selling the Sedona and maybe the honey. I dk but yeah they're wonderful bags.

You are the one who got me started with PLG! I have way too many now…😂, but I find triangle to be one of my top bags for EDC (I do prefer zippers). And am totally in love with brushed leathers now, particularly Dakota! That was a surprise as I’ve always been more enamored with pebbled visually. But I’ve found pebbled to be heavy in larger bags and like you I prefer smooth in my FSCB. I just got my first Market tote (latest Aqua drop) and was blown away by how lightweight it is! This may be the bag that changes my mind on zippers. I can see a Dakota MT in my future. Thanks for this video! Always enjoy your well thought out commentary.

Ha! I completely agree with you on the different bag sizes and textures. So I had the large round in cognac end it was a great bag to take when I visited Kentucky horse Park. Kind of gave off that equestrian vibe in that color. But I found it annoying to get in and out of. I recently ordered the “white“ that just came out and I love it. Of course that color is a bit limited and not some thing I will carry on a regular basis. But now I know I prefer the softer pebbled leather in the round bag. It’s much easier to get things in and out of in my opinion over my more structured leather one. I also prefer a smooth more structured leather for the taller Crossbody. I once had a pebbled medium tote in Nutmeg and found it too slouchy. I’m currently using a smooth black medium Crossbody and I really like it but sometimes I find it a bit stiff/heavy. So in conclusion, if there is one, my next round bag will be in a pebbled leather.. My next tall Crossbody tote will be in a smooth structured leather. I’d like to pick up another medium Crossbody and am debating between honey or a pebbled. I also have a small Crossbody. I had one previously in blue but it was that suede texture and I didn’t like it. Now I have it in a softer somewhat pebbly leather but I can’t remember the name. The color is similar to sunflower but has a slight shimmer. I think the bottom line is the smaller bags I don’t mind if they are pebbled. But the larger bags need more structure so they don’t slouch so much. BTW, your home is gorgeous!

I too have many PLG bags and have been with them a little before you because I remember your first PLG video and I already had several bags. One of my favs is the Nora bag. I have it in the firm reddish-brown leather and in Plum. It fits right under my arm pit! lol but holds a lot! I also love the round one and one I didn’t think I’d like the Butterfly bag. I have it in the black azalea printed leather. Also the Medium Crossbody in Meadow! It too is beautiful. When you start talking about them you just can’t stop 🎉

Watching your videos had made me want a PL bag, but so many choices I have just not made the jump yet. This video really helped me. I generally like bigger bags, but my back is not liking them, so trying to be better with my purse. My work bag is currently a Vera tote which is very large. Been eyeing a tote large or extra large but the bigger at the top design gives it a weird shape..so once again have not ordered. Would love a video on the totes if you still have any. Thanks.

I am going to go check out this shop in Portland. I doubt though if I will buy anything. I am going to be so broke until I find a job in Oregon after moving back temporarily from the EU. Probably while there for the day visiting the best bookstore in the world, also the biggest.

Another fun video! I also prefer the pebbled in most bags. The backpack tote is a staple for me, as well as the medium crossbody. I love the mini, but it always ends up being to small when I am out and about. I may give it another try. It is so cute. lol Thanks for sharing!

I am very disappointed that Portland Leather does not ship to Canada. I wanted to but a backpack to fit my laptop but I learned at the checkout stage that Canada was not an option. 😢
