Considering 80% of them weren't students, judging by arrests made, this is surprisingly feasible. Back in 2017, CNN found that the Code Pink gang that, along with Black Bloc, started the Battle of Charlottesville owned a punk bar.
@@azalia423 I know I had gotten mad at all of these young people then started realizing there were a lot of outside influence that has made the anti American speech a little easier to swallow but not much there is an older blonde woman who seems to be an agitator I've noticed showing up on several of these campuses and a great headed woman I've seen that seems to be involved to just haven't heard their names called but these are all adults and this should remain peaceful nonviolent and not destructive
I wonder how they would feel if we did property damage to their personal property. I bet they would be acceptable to having their homes and cars and phones all damgaged/destroyed.
@@DaveBukowski they don't have homes and cars yet :) Guess that's where the communistic ideas go from - like, let's take everything from the "rich" and distribute among everyone.
@@boulderingbadger6179 That's utterly ignorant of how this works across the USA. Where are you trolling from, Ruzzia or China? Please ask your supervisor for a little basic American Studies knowhow, 'cause that's just pathetic.
@@johnd2058 John I dont even know where to begin with your dumb ass comment. Your a complete moron. Show me an example of how it works then you asshat. It is exactly how it works and I can send you a link to any annual tax bill in my area and you will see I am 100 percent right. Each it and I John.
@@yettimannettii2039 Hecto is right, you, not so much. You're doing no differently than what you hate them doing so much. They do the same to "all republicans" and "all conservatives" or "libertarians", but of course that's BS too. Don't stoop to their level and stupidity.
Disgust is the emotion used to do the worst atrocities. Yet they are making themselves a target of the emotion, when they could take high ground. It is interesting that everyone with too much time and access to social media is doing the protesting rather than an elite celebrity led science backed eugenicist movement of social nationalists.......
@@johnd2058 these aren't the few. Organized criminal activity supported and sanctioned by all the underdeveloped children taking part. Just because they're fragile kids with emotional issues, you shouldn't excuse their criminal behavior. They'll always be trash unless those around them teach them by holding them to a higher standard... unlike these indoctrination camps formerly known as universities.
@@Gatis_ That's fact going by the arrest records. SIX students. If you judged SUNY Binghamton or CUNY Queens by five or six students, they're thousands-strong brigades of Zionist maximalists plotting the invasion of our actual best friends in the Middle East (with a country, sorry Kurds), Jordan. Apply the same to SUNY Rockland, and the student body is a giant association of NASCAR-worthy hotrodders.
where are the parents of these entitled brats!!! if my kids ever did anything like this I would be so ashamed. there is no excuse for destroying a library.
My daughter had to go to court while in college (Greek life 🤬). Anyway she was disappointed after calling me to review her “defense “ and I told her all she was allowed to say was “yes your honor; no your honor “. Which was exactly what my ex told her 🤣
Portland and PSU have long been advocates for all kinds of protesting. They have loved being the activist hub of the west coast. The irony has me tickled.
Those student protesters are sure a destructive bunch. Hope the colleges bill them for the cost of clean up. Their parents must be so proud of the vandals they raised.
Lol , do you think destroying fire detectors and alarms are protests ? When do you start calling them criminal acts ? Became that's what they are. Protesters don't destroy life saving fire protection equipment. Only criminals do.
Many of the library employees who are so traumatized supported this movement. They start to understand It’s destructiveness when they see the movement eating they’re young.
I watched a faculty senate meeting where faculty had the chance to ask the president questions. Psu is insured with a $100,000 deductible. The insurance inspection was relatively recent which is good, but the uni will be making every effort to use the insurance for lost wages and repairs
Isn’t interesting that he refrered to it as an “ occupation.” The Vandals themselves were participating in a term that they themselves are screaming and protesting about for gaza
Most of them are local politicians and state gvt officials kids. Thats why. I met one pantifa loser who's daddy was in state government and I learned they don't even get prosecution
@oldmanshickenshit...you encouraged it and let it happen. None of you have any spine. I've been here 40 years and you get punked by smelly green haired losers every year. Cry old geezer
@@oldmanemptyhouse7659 Until things change in their voting habits all Portlanders and even all oregonians will be tarred with the same brush. Part of the state is even trying to join Idaho.
So are you going to charge them? Are you going to expel them? Are they going to be forced to compensate the u oversight for the destruction they caused? I am tired of destructive whack jobs being treated like a natural disaster. This was not a tornado that swept in and tore the place apart. These are people who can be held accountable for their actions
I went to PSU for two years, spent lots of time in that library studying for my classes. I was also part of PSU's Jewish Student Union and found it very strange that we had our meetings and events off campus! I now know why JSU was so compled to have everything off campus or in the Long House!
Did I just read a sign that says, "Property destruction is not violence"? Perhaps the rioters' addresses should be publicized and the community can teach them a lesson. (Try this rioting behaviour s*** in Malaysia or Singapore and expect to be jailed and caned)
Arrests are important …… charge students part of the costs of repairs and suspend them . If not a student charge criminal trespass , require payment for damages and repair at double the cost …….
“Peaceful” protest. Why would you vandalize an area for others to study and learn? Effect the ones who have more of an impact not the areas that are helping people 🤦♂️

Proud of these privileged students in the US. They should tell their parents (moms and dads), they are transferring to the University of Hamas in Gaza. Glad they are not my kids.
Sad to see both juvenile and destructive actions by delusional folks. Justice and accountability requires those responsible for the damage to pay the tab.
Send the restoration to all the students as a fee. Just think how a $15000 fee on their tuition will get non participants to make sure the protesters think twice about damage. NOTHING IS BETTER THAN PEER PRESSURE
and the same should be said about Iranian govt funding terrorists groups Hamas and Hezebollah. No one of this would be happening if Hamas would be committed to peace
