If there was no offside This is often called "last defender's foul" even though this rule does not exist as is but it is a way to visualize the concept. The goalkeeper cuts a net action of a goal by making this foul. So it's a red.

My parents went to Multnomah Stadium in the 30's/40's for concerts & HS football, I was a season ticket holder for PTFC in '75 & '76 and watched Aussie Rules when there were movable bleachers for the Portland Beavers Baseball Club... Lots of history in that location.

@@openketchuppacket113 I'm a lifelong Man Utd fan, and I love Messi. So I checked out MLS, and kinda impressed with stadium atmosphere and plus former our Utd player coaching, since then my early morning filled with Timbers's match. Not for long I'll come to live in US so why not found a club.

Us Timbers dominated the first half and even though the ref was shitty we still held them off the rest of the game with 10 men. We would've won with 11 but I say gaining a point end of the day with 10 men for 45+ minutes is a win. This ref must be a total jerk [F] him

That looked very offside from here. I know camera angles can be deceptive but he looked at least a foot offside. If there is no offside then a red card is the correct call because it’s a direct goalscoring opportunity and not a PK (if it had been a PK it could only be a yellow under the double-jeopardy rule). That Timbers wall was bad. Why didn’t they jump?

I dont get why people think the ref helped lafc. I mean. Crepeau clipped bouanga and he was the last man. Also, portland probably wouldve beaten lafc had bougsz not made that freekick. It was a great game.
