There's a lot to consider when it comes to art commissions. Since I just had a run of a few, I thought it might be a good time to share some thoughts on them from my perspective as primarily a hobbyist. So, a discussion of taking commissions when you mostly create art for fun versus doing it for a living and relying on it for income. Plus, some details on various scams I've run into and what to watch out for...unfortunately, artists are ripe targets on social media for criminals and scammers.
