So refreshing to see the different styles all in one gathering. Ive watched for years and now again.. Several individuals holding demonstrations on line talk me to death until I turn sound off. Ive enjoyed listening and watching every episode of Portrait and Landscape Artist of the Year Art Documentary.
The winner 🏆 is MARY SHEPERDSON. The dynamics of power lifter ALI JAWAD are present in his noble Olympian face. The only thing missing is a golden wreath on his head. The likeness is ALIVE. Honorable mention to MARK OLIVER. His Art-Deco style is stunning, powerful, and virile like the Empire State or Chrysler buildings in New York City. But, is that really CHRIS PAKHAM or JACK NICHOLSON?!!! I REALLY LIKED THIS EPISODE. 👍
Amazing.... I would have agreed with either of the two woman finalists... I was sitting there at the end just saying to myself..."just not Mark...just not Mark" Go figure...
@@rigorramos4288 it's a one column of season and rumbled, some items are hidden for now, maybe I just wait, I've already watched s1-3, currently watching ep4 of S4, I've just realized this latest releases was S8, but I'm glad I can watch it even the series is done for so long
SHAME ON THEM…..to denigrate the mixed media with acrylic, oil and inks…..the incomplete nature of the hair and body compared to the completeness of the face was SPECTACULAR….
Just another disappointment...the portraits by the two women were hear & shoulders, no pun intended, way above the one the "judges" chose. Would love to know who Joan Bakewell's choice was vs the judges'.
Yeah, I stopped seeing this show because there is a STRONG inclination towards preferring male artists at the end. I often find myself disagreeing with the final decision.
