Our final few day's riding ACT. we are really tested when we get to the Roman bridge sections, Gary & Dangerous Derek crash again and lot more fun, O and I even talk on this one........
Outstanding trip, riding, videoing, scenery, and guy's. Watched every one. Thanks so much for putting it all together and taking us along. What a great group of guy's.
Brillient! Yes, the camera just doesn’t show how steep stuff is.. but I know, I had a couple of falls at that Roman bridge! Well done getting those beasts up the ruff stones and the rock face 👏💪
Great vids of the ACT route. Well done on a outstanding effort! Two things learned for me, don't do it in the rainy season and don't use big heavy bikes!
Hi Gary, yep and yep,,,, it was a real challenge but god we had fun, i did feel for the other guys being dealt those conditions with so little experience... BUT we did it and we all said never again on big GSA ... all the best
Well I thoroughly enjoyed you trip BOYS. 10 out of 10 for that. My God. Whoever did the LOGISTICS for your adventure HATS OFF to them too. When my BIKING days are over, I long to be that ELDERLY PERSON who sits on a bench somewhere with my walking stick and watch the world go by. 😂🤣😭 THANKYOU VERY MUCH. Roll on March 2023.
Ian thank you for the kind words, Gary was responsible for the planning, our trip was a recy so he can take riders of all abilities, but as you watch some of the trails are a bit of a challenge 🤣🤣🤣 ride safe my friend
Yea, for next year, I will definitely miss out the tough Roman Bridge, but keep the easier (1st one) in. This is going to be set up as do-able for adventure bikes with limited ability, and that one is definitely next level. Plus running it a bit earlier in the year will hopefully bring some slight better weather that did give us a bit of a kicking!!! But without the reccie and the help of everyone on this trip it would never get done. So thank you guys.
Hi You will love it.... it was hard going at times on the big GSA but loads of fun, the videos show all the hotels we stayed at along the way, we didnt do big milage days just so we had time to take it in, some guys we met were doing 200 ml days and they looked broken..... Have fun and let me know how you get on please ? all the best
Hi All. Thanks for the nice youtube film. I enjoyed it very much. You faced very rainy days in Portugal. I was just wondering in the situation at the Roman bridge, did you lower the tire pressure for more grip on the stones ?
Hi thank you for taking a look appreciated, to be honest we just had to get up and over the Roman bridges just by brute force because as we got there we had light rain and the stones and rocks were just like glass so lowering the tyre pressure wouldn’t really have made much difference plus we were fully load and we worried about damage to the rims and pinch punctures…. Hope this answers your question my friend 👌
Kudos for doing the second Roman bridge, hard work but worth the effort 👍 Whilst I've done the bridge a couple of times solo north to south, the first I did it was south to north, but on a smaller bike 🤣
Morning Paul, it was fun, if I wasnt so protective of my bike I would have just gone for it and 100% sure I could have done it, but if we do it again its going to be on ktm 500exc s and just go at at it 😀 thanks for watching all the best
What can one say Andy, another great one by you all, I think the only thing missing out of the 4 vids was snow lol, not much you guys didn’t come across & I’m sure you all needed that determination, grit & patience to deal with the trials thrown at you, again well done bud, look forward to the next venture👍😎🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍
