@@DoozieDoodle These are all great artists/ bands but most of them with the exception of Michael Kiwanuka, Phoebe Bridges, and Lainne La Havas are not new at all. And even those three aren't that new. Sorry my friend but you might be able to add a few more to your list but compared to what POSHEN listed in his video you have got a lot of work ahead of you. Daft Punk just broke up by the way.

@@losely451 the criteria was "current" and all of them 100% fit that as they are all still going except for daft punk. The artists in this video are just as current if not even less current then death grips, dayglow, toro y moi, king gizzard, car seat headrest, and more that I mentioned as they all released music within the past year so what do you mean? Dr dog just released a live album, mac demarco is always working on new music, wolf parade just released an album in 2020. Even if they haven't released anything in a few years it's still current. Wrecking ball (which was parodied here) came out over 7 years ago my guy, if you count miley cyrus and lorde as current you count everyone I mentioned as current. These names are still being brought up as current artists that people are into, tame impala just released an album last year, cage the elephant released an album in 2019. If you were to make a list of well known artists in the "current indie music scene" then my list is what you'd get along with the 1975, peach pit, boy pablo, declan mckenna, wallows, and vampire weekend all of which have recently released music. And i'm still leaving out many artists that are less known, still all of these are current.
