@John Sabp it says show in the TITLE of the VIDEO. I'm guessing you've never been to Universal at all, because looking at the building makes you think it's an indoor coaster.

And in the original, the tour guide was actually Zeus in disguise. He’d magically change in the last room and fight Poseidon (who was the bad guy in the original). The original storyline was much better and the final battle was less cheesy.

@@JerseyEmpireGroup Poseidon was also a giant CGI merman in the original so I'm not sure it's any less cheesy lol

@@whatthepunk143 hmmm...I think there's still ways they can make some improvements to the attraction, like having the final battle between Posiden and the other guy fill the full water instead of only a bit of it. Also cut down on the fire a bit whilst they're fighting, otherwise it's kind of hard to see what's going on between the two. Apart from that though the immersive theming and the absolutely phonemal water tunnel really make this attraction. Now if universal did it, it would just be all screens

It would be pretty awesome if they could make an updated version of this that combines the current show with the original the way they could do this is they make it play pretty much the same way as the current version of the show but with the Poseidon of the original show taking the place of darkanon as the villain and being represented as some kind of imposter who desires to replace the real Poseidon and take over his kingdom and it ends with the real Poseidon working together with his brother Zeus to defeat the impostor and help the audience escape with Poseidon thanking his brother for helping him regain his rightful place as king of the ocean

Never been on it. And I’ve been living in Florida for 20 years(and counting). With that said it took me those same 20 years to get on the hulk ride.

actually I think 'Taylor" actually does escape with us, one time I think 'Taylor is at the exit saying good bye to us. At least, I thought it was him, could be wrong though.

@@AFarmerCalledChicken I was there in 2019 and still vividly remember it. The water smells like a swimming pool (so water with chlorine).

And i was sure it was a water ride but i think i was confusing it with busch gardens

@@JamiRaphi if they still have it, they had a LOT of high-pressure water nozzles aimed at an angle to the arch. When they all fired, it was high enough pressure to stay virtually glued to the arch itself as it traveled around it. It then returned to the reservoir under the walkway. I think they had like 30 nozzles or so. Really, really cool effect and people never got hit by anything but a light mist

wickedphant0m lol, I stumbled onto this attraction due to Rain Being poured down on me and my friends while we were walking around. When We quickly got Out of the rain, I look at the tunnel and everyone else was going down the path, I was like “Might as well join em” when we got to the first section my friends were complaining about sore legs. I was saying “I deeply regret doing this” then when the Door opened on the second section I was stunned. I said “Remember few minutes ago I said I deeply regret doing this? Forget I said that we Gotta go in there” as I motioned them to the water archway. We were in the front section and when the lights flipped, I was looking left and right to find where we are then when they came back up it was a Very Big stage and when the show ended it reverted Back into the room where we were before we were transported. I was still trying to process what happened when we got transported I said “This has to be some very Big Magic going on, cuz I freakin Loved it!!!!” So yeah a accidental stumble to a attraction became my fav in IOA.

I believe that’s exactly what the latest rumors are calling for, another Potter expansion. I too loved this show when I was younger but sadly it never pulls in a crowd and hasn’t aged very well.

Tedious Totoro that’s because they’re actually waiting for the tours to fill up and because so few people are wanting to see the show it takes longer for each group to fill up and start their tour. I was just there yesterday and spoke to a TM about it. That and the fact that the parks are almost empty...

@@olivermcbride355 we had pins that told people we were celebrating my birthday and the staff person saw it and said I could lead it. I felt so awesome that day. We didn't have to ask.

KadenzaKat98 LOL. I got a story as well: This was the first time I went on this. So like you I was with a few friends at Universal. We were walking outside and next thing you know, I felt a drop, then another, and another then the sky just Opened up on us, rain hitting the ground HARD. Now at the time we didn’t bring any Umbrellas/ponchos so we were getting soaked AF. I look around frantically to find cover and I saw the sign for this attraction and suggested we get in there ASAP. Now me and my friends didn’t know what this attraction was about. So we Ran really fast to get under the temple. I look at our friends, we were drenched. Glad to see they had A/C in this attraction. We eventually joined up with the group. I remembered walking after the first section saying “I regret doing this so damn much” since we walked all around the park. Then on the second section I saw the dials turn I was like “Huh?” Then the dials OPENED THE DOOR INFRONT OF ME. That just blew my mind instantly thinking “How TF did they do that?! Are we on some Indiana Jones adventure type sh*t?” as the gates opened I said to my friends “Remember how I said earlier I regret doing this? Forget I said that” then we walked through. I was astonished at the arching water above us. On the final section when the battle came I remember looking at the room, it was very small With few walls. Lights went out I was like “Ok what now?” Then the Stage Revealed and I was like “WOAH!” Then when the show ended, the lights went out. We were back at the Spot where we started. I was still processing about what happened from when the room transformed into a Stunt stage to it back. I look at my friend with a Stunned face Like I said “What did we just see?” Like we were allllll talking about what happened in that section. So yeah. That’s how it became my fav attraction😅.
