This is the first Poseidon I grew back in summer 2019. It is a very vigorous rose in my hot and humid climate. Today, it is 5ft tall and 4 feet wide. Honestly, it totally out grow the space I put it at and it still continue to grow.
This is a true lavender rose. Under the sun and heat, it can get pink. But during the evening time or cloudy day, it will shows its true color. It is one the best lavender rose I have in my garden. It can bloom in spray or single bloom and always bloom in flush. Once the temperature get above 90, the bloom can get burned pretty easily so afternoon shade is totally beneficial for this rose. No fragrance to my nose. Repeat from spring till frost but bloom more heavily during spring and fall.
