An ex-Chelsea footballer player turns up with some expensive Rolex watches, and James is put to the test when he's asked to evaluate a hovercraft used in a James Bond film.
The series follows the adventures and day to day running of Prestige Pawnbrokers. The luxury pawnbrokers are run by entrepreneur James Constantinou who guides us through clients interesting in pawning or selling items from helicopters to Lamborghinis, mini-submarines and Hermes handbags.

He has been on dickinsons and other interviews, I don't believe he wants his own show. He could have gone places on tv though of this I am sure, not just his own place as that might not have been enough on its own, maybe a host of some antique or collectors tv show type thing, or slight comedy host, he would fit those roles perfect.

Their morals would be fine with it, if the money was right. But because it isn't, they tried to take the moral high ground and virtue signal since it wasn't worth the money.

If you have to pawn your diamonds to buy groceries maybe you should reassess your lifestyle. Buying material things so you can try to impress people you will never meet is ostentatious. The wealthiest people never flaunt their money.

steel Daytona is atleast $20-25k by itself, then add a gold one? this kid was an idiot, all the customers are too, who use a pawn shop. a watch store would have paid him more. never go to a pawn shop though, unless you really want the item back and need a short loan for a week or month. 7 months? you will never get that stuff back bc of interest

Are you a expert in the field? There is a huge difference between retail and wholesale. Luxury goods sold at retail carry HUGE mark-up's. The price they sell for in the second hand market is a fraction of what they sold for new. Pawn shops usually only pay 1/3 to 1/2 of wholesale value.

@@williamegler8771 yeah why go to a pawn shop and not a boutique new/used store. you get a much better deal and I'm bY no means a Rolex fan..I prefer patik and AP although a Newman Daytona is on my wish list

@@williamegler8771 wrong, many luxury watches carry a huge premium over retail. today the steel Daytona trades for about 23k GBP and the yellow gold at about 30k GBP. do your research before commenting

Both Daytona's are zenith powered and very desirable, prices were lower when this was filmed but I'd say even then the 16520 was worth about £12k and about £15k for the gold one
