Hey y'all! Here are my 10 favorite Bolo Brands for Poshmark so far this year! One of the most common questions I get besides HOW to sell on Poshmark is WHAT to sell on Poshmark. As a reseller, we want to pick up brands that maintain a high resale value as well as a quick sell through rate. Finding these types of items to sell on Poshmark not only keeps our profit margins high, but also allows us to generate the necessary cash flow to continually grow our business! Be sure to be on the lookout for these brands when stores open back up or if you are online sourcing!

I found an Aviator Nation sweatshirt at the bins had no idea what the brand was but the inner tag looked good. I never checked comps I was like if anything I’ll keep it for me. The I was like oh no the cuffs have flaws which after I researched are intentional. I put it on Poshmark within minutes someone bought it for full price. Sadly I’ve never found it again but I’m always looking.

YESSS. It's one of those brands that doesn't look like it would go for lots of money, but the demand is insane! And my sweatshirt had pilling, which I thought was a flaw at first but then realized was intentional too! Hopefully we both find it again once everything opens up!!

Love the video! I have a Cinq a Sept blouse in my Posh Closet as we speak! I have a question for you. Prior to social distancing, do you find yourself having more success with items you retail arbitraged or items that you thrifted? What is your goal for arbitrage? 2x, 3x? thanks in advance. YAY! Thank you!! I have success with both! It just depends on where I'm able to find items that I think could garner a good ROI and sometimes that seems more prevalent at the thrift but some other times (especially Clear the Rack events, yellow tag sales at Marshall's, etc) it's through retail arbitrage. If you haven't watched my retail arbitrage video, definitely go check it out! I discuss my expected profit margin pretty thoroughly!

@@MogiBeth Thank you so much. I did watch that video, but need a refresher. These times we're in require creativity in sourcing for sure! Sometimes I look on Anthropologie to get familiar with brands too. I'm not a fashionista by any means. My joy in thrifting comes from that feeling when someone buys something I thought was interesting, gorgeous, or unique. It's like a little smile from someone far off recognizing something we have in common! Corny...but that's what does it for me.

I have a question that I’m finding a hard time finding an answer to: I found a beautiful Free People set at my local thrift store for $17. It appeared to be in excellent condition, almost new, so I was ecstatic to find it! When I came home and began to clean and further inspect it I found a VERY faint brownish stain on the leg AND some very faint grayish stains on the lower leg ☹️. I stain treated and did the best I could to get them out, but they’re still there. My question: The stains TRULY are barely noticeable. If my items have any flaws at all I ALWAYS disclose in the listing, so I have no intentions on hiding it. I know FP is sought after brand that resells well, BUT how should I price it based on those flaws? Should I even sell it? Thank you!

It's really hard to give any pricing recommendations since Free People can vary widely depending on style, but I would check comps and maybe list it $5-$10 less than the lowest available in the size you have. That way you can compete on price! Hope that helps!!

Good to know what brands sell best but if found at a thrift shop how do you know what style will sell and what won't. Isn't it hard to differentiate which is which? And could you list all 10 brands down below? Thanks!!

YES! That's why doing your research & staying up to date on trends is really important! I mentioned in the beginning that I do this by window shopping online (it's one of my hobbies lol). And the list is in the description!

I have been watching a lot of your videos and I appreciate you making them and what I’ve learned from them very much. So I say this humbly; these videos would be more helpful if you wild show a photo of the tag (for your visual learners) as well as she the spelling in the videos (the tag photo would probably take care of that). I know it is more work, and I did just see that the spelling of each is in the description box. But, that’s just my little little humble request. Thank you, Love! Hi Mogi, thanks for sharing the 10 new brands, i think we know the brand is good when we feel the material, but the problem is how we find them at lower price, for the thrift stores who consider the brands j crew, ann taylor as expensive brands, hard to find those high end brands. If we buy them online when some department stores have sales, but the price is almost the price you sold at Poshmark. For example, i saw you showed you sold a A.L.C skirt for $115 on the video, but i saw from Saks Fifth Off for sale even more expensive than your selling price, so really, there is no room for profit margin. Would you mind to let me know how you sauce the clothes for lower price online? You reply would help me a lot, thanks for sharing Mogi.

I have lots of videos on this very topic! Check out my Retail arbitrage video. Also my Nordstrom Rack hauls and Thred Up haul. But before the pandemic, I would often find these types of brands at buy sell trade stores as well! And in Portland, luckily I run across these brands in the thrift stores sometimes

I find in thrift stores they will have the J Crew, Ann Taylor etc marked up but then I’ll find brands that are more upscale at regular price because the thrift stores are not not aware of these less well known upscale brands. It really pays to do your research

I literally sourced a Tiare Hawaii dress last time I was in cali and didn't think it was worth anything. I bought it to just throw on over my bikini! I’m still very new but I feel like I don’t sell much .. I have about 50 items in my closet right now, free people is prob the best brand I have but I just added for love and lemons etc. I always see everyone selling a lot. Any tips?
