White balance is the key to proper color being reproduced in images. An app with that setting is important if using a phone for photography.

@@azucenaortega5236 The Adobe Lightroom app is really good, but there are other free apps too. Generally auto white balance is a good setting. Take pictures of clothing and objects and compare to real life.

Heyyy so I was just wondering what your opinion on taking photos with the clothing on myself an trying to sell them. You didn’t mention that as one of your tips and I’d like to try it out but I’m not sure if people would be intrigued by it or if they would sell easily that way? :)

Another thing i learned is to have black and white backdrops (i use a paper one ) in case youre selling light or white clothing so it doesnt fade into the backdrop . grest video btw i learned a lot ✌😁

This is soooo helpful! I LOVE your poshmark closet and if I had the money and they were all the right size, I would buy everything in it simply because your photos make it all look so amazing!! Yep! You can crop in your actually photo just within your photo settings. You can crop any photo that way.

I do all my photographing at night sadly so i really need these lights. I am gonna make sure you get some money out of my amazon purchase....but will you still get a comission if iam in Canada and using amazon.ca. Sadly not many ppl in Canada make videos or use Poshmark but im on it and just made my first sale and love it! Another question I have is do youo but those Priority Boxes in Bulk? Because they are $6 at the my post office? If yes, do you buy them on Amazon or Post Office. Thankyou:)

Would you recommend using a photo box? I'm thinking about buying a 32×32×32 inch photo box and I'm not quite sure if the clothing will fit in it or if it's work buying.

A photo box would for sure be a create idea! If you’re worried about size just use soft box lights and wood floor or fun carpet for a flatlay! Or even a wall!

I'm confused, you said you take photos with your phone but you have a Canon camera and lens listed in your supply list. Is this just a suggestion? Also what do you use the burlap for? Thanks for making these videos they're really helpful.

I take my photos with a phone but use my DSLR for certain projects or sometimes even detail shots if I find my phone isn't working best!

Great tips🙂 I had seen a posh listing for a bra on some FILTHY MATTED grass green carpet, next to a wall scuffed up with some dirt marks, near a door that looked like soneone had tried to kick it down!! I thought it was a joke but seen the person had 2 solds with the same background pics!! I was mind blown!

How is Poshmark different from Mercari, Tradesy or Thredup!?

Sara C I sell on Poshmark & Mercari. Mercari is better for home goods items I think. Mercari requires a bit more work in weighing items for shipping & the fee is 10%, on Poshmark it is 20% fee but shipping covers up to 5 lbs so it is easier for newbies but does take more social time & sharing. posh.mk/Sz8zSHr9U5

@@chanda-aime6388 I did watch, it was a lot of conversation when you are doing a tutorial you need to take it on hand so people can understand. There are photo videos that show more on hands for you to understand. I know we have full photo studio for on line sales.

@@funone2no that's the crazy part! Because I have 3 sets I have box lights and umbrella lights. The problem isn't my equipment, its my lack of photography skills lol I'm thinking of taking a class to help.
