The government is supposed to be the representatives of the whole sovereign country but if the government fails to fix a crime that devastates the lives of foreign citizens then it's a bad look on the government and in turn the citizens (depending if you vote for the government officials.) I work for a call centre for a telecommunication company and people assume I’m white because I have no accent (I am white) but they go on racist rants about getting calls from India from our company when we are all Canadian call centres. They start those rants with some of my black friends there too and they’re like “oh really....” 😂 I feel horrible for people who have to deal with that struggle

These scammers are the reason why all the legit call centers are moving to the Philipines. And it befuddles me that a lot of Indian guys are defending these fuckers.
