I watch Positano Diaries every Sunday with Nicki and she is friends with Elizabeth, the owner of Blue Star charter boats. They both live in Positano and I just found your channel and it is so fun to see Positano from a tourist perspective. Love the blue dress you chose. Oh and you showed Elizabeth when you were getting on the boat!!!! Elizabeth has her own YT channel too called Goat Morning Amalfi Coast where she and her daughters care for their goats and she also shows you around Positano. Elizabeth is very sweet and kind and you can tell she works very hard with their charter boat business with her husband.

I just got back from Positano 2 weeks ago today. I looked at your videos many times and couldn’t believe I was finally there. I stayed at Hotel Reginella for 3 nights and went to Davincenzo, casa e Botega and Il Tridente. I also had a cooking class at Casa Mele.

Hi Dana, thanks so much -- love seeing your videos of Positano. I have been there a number of times over the years, the last time in May 2023. Surprising, it was cooler/rainier than on any of my prior trips, and one afternoon, with an Aperol Spritz in hand, looking down from Le Sirenuse, I watched as one of the ferries tried to dock. The sea was just too rough and after the third attempt, with the fellow on the dock/landing pad trying/failing to secure the thrown rope to the piling, the ferry captain just gave up and pulled back out. All the folks gathered on the dock, waiting to board, huddling under their umbrellas, were none too happy. But, thankfully the weather eventually cleared before I was off a couple of days later on a private transfer boat to Capri/the Caesar Augustus Hotel for another week, my "happy place." Grazie mille, again.

We went to Rome mid June of 2019 and it was 80-90 degrees everyday also went to Venice, Florence and Pompeii and it was very nice weather everywhere, Pompeii did get in the high 90, but we there just one day.❤ Loved seeing you and your mom doing this together, thanks for sharing.

I love watching your travel vlogs, I’m heading to Italy in October on a cruise from Rome to Venice but my next trip will be going directly to the individual cities like you’re doing, so we’ll get a little taste on the port stops but can’t wait to come back and truly stay in one place for a few days!
