Positive pigeon pointer training drill is what we did at our training days DogBone Handler's Workshop! To do this, we utilized this "positive pigeon" drill that we recently learned about from our good friends over at Standing Stone Ethan Pippet. This positive pigeon drill has proven very useful for a number of reasons, including bringing out Máquina's natural point and awakening some drive for birds. We are a long ways from a solid pointer, but we are bringing it out!
This drill has been very fun, but it is not one that we will do often, as we explain in the video.
