Metroman's message is often overlooked, it's alright to help others and all, but you are not responsible for anyone's happiness, you should come first on your list of priorities, and no matter how much better the world would be with your help, if you are not happy, then what's the point? To be fair. The first hint that something was off should have been A. The whole skeleton was still connected and B. How would the Cape be the only part of his outfit that would survive

To answer your question with the Villains, Joker would be the same as MegaMind if Batman would die, all he ever cares about is his game between him and Bats and he doesn’t really want to kill him, Lex Luther if he were to kill Superman would just go along with his other plans, the reason he hates Superman is because a being like him with so much power he sees as a detriment to the human race as they would be way too dependent on him and impede their progress as a race so removing him from the big picture and taking over are his goals for mankind

This is the first Superhero/Villain film where its self-aware about Villains being bored when they try to Take Over The World.

One thing I think is a great detail is when Metroman says “and I love you random citizen” is a subtle dive into his mental state. Because that line shows that these are all just random citizens to him, he doesn’t actually care for them at all. If he did care he would’ve said something like “and I love you sir”

when I was a kid, I hated metroman for his reasons, but now I'm grown, I completely understand metroman Metro Man was tired of always being a hero. It's not that he dislikes saving people, but rather felt like that he never really had a choice. He decided to MAKE a choice, and chose to give up crime-fighting and go into retirement. He away be of what the city love him to be, there savior. But now he realized that he should have someone that he love to be instead.

11:10 well if Lex Luthor or Norman Osborn won they'd run for mayor or become president while running the criminal underworld in the shadows. They've done it even when the heroes are alive, so those two do have other goals. The Joker however, has said before that without Batman crime has no punchline. He'd be just like Megamind, wondering what to do with his life.

They did do a story on Joker believing he killed Batman and I believe he became sane again. There are also stories where Batman vanishes and he gets bored or goes catatonic. Now, Luthor, on the other hand, tends to want to be in charge and sees Superman and all other superhumans as impediments to humans becoming the best they can be and, of course, Luthor leading humanity on that path. He's not quite as psychologically dependent on Supes. Megamind's old man costume is a reference to Marlon Brando playing Superman's dad in the original Superman movie.

The explosion scene is the funniest explosion I’ve seen in a kids film. Also I loved that this movie wants you to root for megamind(now anti hero).

24:12 my favorite scene in this movie is actually the one when Tighten is holding Megamind up: Tighten: “This is the last time you make a fool of me.” Megamind: (looks back at the car) “I’ve made you a hero. You did the full thing all by yourself.” The reason I like this part so much is because not only is he saying the truth, but he’s doing it deliberately to get Tighten to punch him. (if you notice as he’s finishing the sentence he’s wincing he’s preparing himself for the hit) Because he knows that the head is going to make him sell all the way across the street next to the car.

I love how you're just guessing most of how the movie is going to go. That Megamind will become a hero and that he'll make a worse villain than himself 😂😂😂

I love Megamind and if there's a Series that you should watch that's so good,Danny Phantom is one masterpiece that deserves more love and attention.

I heard the director described this movie as Elvis vs Alice Cooper pretty accurate if you ask me. BTW if you look at Roxann’s clothing you can actually see the progress of her and Megamind’s relationship because she started in red which is the opposite of him, when Titan basically kidnapped her she’s in purple showing her falling for Megamind and at the end she’s in blue

DreamWorks is my favorite animated film maker. Megamind is an absolute underrated gem!

Have you ever heard of Gravity Falls? It’s a Disney cartoon with two seasons full of fun jokes and sometimes dark themes that make people question if it’s really for kids lol. Or just adult jokes that kids will never understand. Although it *is* targeted for people of all ages, it has huge mind blowing mysteries that’ll definitely keep you on your toes! And I guarantee you’ll cry by the end of it. I definitely suggest checking it out if you haven’t!

Something I just noticed: when they use the watch, the only thing that doesn’t change in their appearance is their eye color. Megamind’s eyes are green and Metroman’s eyes are blue. So when Megamind fights Hal while disguised as Metroman, you can see his eyes are green.

There’s a meme where when he puts on the Black Mamba it says, “I am the CEO of sex.”

Honestly, one of my favorite movies ever. I love watching it with my kids. The soundtrack is amazing and I laugh through the whole thing.

For TV shows, have you seen Gravity Falls and/or Over the Garden Wall? If not, I *highly* recommend those and they're both pretty short-- 2 seasons and some shorts for the former, 10 episodes and a non-canonical pilot for the latter.

Love your reactions, Cody, but you talked through most of the funniest lines in this movie without hearing them.

Legends of Korra is no more a good thing to reviews or react, and even to discover ! It's may begin really good and right, but ends really bads and suck cause to the many stupids and useless ideas and fuckings ml progressisimes they equip behind the series have. The last season, the fourth, and especially the lastiest seconds killed litterally the entire universe and bad impact the first original serie (and the comics sequels put again more deeply the knife into the injury even many more in many ways)! The TLA universe has aged really badly with the times and anyone wanted what the end of the series showed. we did not ask for more and in a way so imposed and important! there really was a huge slippage and awkwardness not even debatable and in very bad taste. no thought and only simplicity. really, ironically in all of this, it's the eponymous character who is the show's black spot in the final season. remove all the scenes where she appears see completely remove Korra from the season and series, season 4 is correct and excellent. In the very last lines, it is useless and is only decoration and filling. nothing more. really sad end and I strongly advise everyone not to watch the series or season 4 at the limit, and can also be season 3 especially the end of the latter, they also very questionable in their choice of screenwriters, to processing and character development and two more things!

I wish for a live-action Megamind since we’re getting a live-action How To Train Your Dragon

Funny you should mention Joker beating Batman, like Megamind, if he did beat Batman, his life would have no purpose anymore, because he said once, and I quote, "Without Batman, crime has no punchline." This applies to real life when Kevin Conroy, the longtime voice of Batman passed away a couple years ago and Mark Hamill, who also did the Joker, said he's done doing Joker because his friend just died and doesn't feel right doing Joker anymore. As fo4 Green Goblin and Lex, they're too evil to even care. I mean, Gobby's goal is to tortue Spider-Man and ruin his life whereas Lex Luthor just wants to be in control and not have Superman ruin his plans.
