Possum Shot Trail | Elkin NC

We made a return visit to Elkin Creek Mountain Bike Trail to ride Possum Shot. The initial climb was a bit more than I expected but more than made up for it the rest of the way! I really enjoyed the fast flow sections along with the berms, fun times!

trail looks like great fun, the early climb does look like a lot of work and that rock section looks like a big challenge to work up too

You should make a Hobby Park trail video! I'm kinda scared to go riding there because it seems intense and more challenging

So how many trails are in elkin and do they connect together?

There are 3 mtb trails and a greenway in Elkin. Take the greenway to access Elkin Trail. Possum Shot and Iron Falls connect to the main trail. Fun riding, for sure!
