Post Apocalyptic Waterworld Strategy! Depth of Extinction Gameplay Impressions 

Splatt's the real MVP. He thinks about the bigger picture. Not just putting out videos for the sake a views but actually considering the best time to feature a game for it's own good. He's looking out for the industry for the greater good. He's Splattercat and he a good dude.

Splatty, the reason you keep dying is because you don't bother following the tutorial. You just keep closing the helpful tabs who just want for you to survive. If you had followed the helpful advices given by the tutorial, you would have put your first level up point in constitution like you originally did, that alone would have improved your health by 3 points. Then if you actually followed the helpful message, you would have used the items you recovered from the first mission, which added +2 health to one character. You would also have learnt about movement actions if you just read the helpful messages provided to you for FREE. And finally, you complain about the difficulty, but if you had noticed, at the top right of your screen, there was a red warning saying: ALERT LEVEL = HIGH. So basically you warned everyone in the base that intruders were inside with your location. I think even more guys popped up in the mission because it was a high alert level. Otherwise it would have been way simpler.

The second mission i think was rated easy because your scanners weren't working as it said while you were selecting the mission. Perhaps it could have made that more explicit.

I would watch more of this

You basically ran into a boss with an incomplete early game team. There are probably people who can win in such scenario, but not a lot of them.

You cannot find the place where I can upgrade. Maybe you should click on the "Next page" button of the tutorial speech bubbles instead of closing it, I would assume that they explain more stuff there.

The game looks really interesting, but I hope it does leave for some sandbox or open ended play. I love the x-com style of combat/tactics. You really do find whats worth while while diggin through the pile Splatty!

Its like X-COM: Terror from the Deep that was a good game

There's just a learning curve to the game is all. You'd figure out all your mistakes in this episode in like one or two more missions.

Too bad. Not sandbox openworld game. Was hoping for rimworld like game when I read waterworld.

with that much details to the graphics, it would be a wonderful sandbox instead.

I love your channel @SplatterCatGaming, I'm a long-time fan of your style, but you gotta start reading the tutorial popups more again, you're making a damn fool of yourself by ignoring all the instructions

This game - in every way, nope. I mean it's not like the thing is evil incarnate, just a really rare degree of complete and thorough crap.
