@@connor9700 I liked Tua. But, I don't care what the medicals say, he will never be the same player he was during his peak years in Alabama. Maybe Washington isn't sold on Haskins (which is stupid in my opinion, Haskins remains my number 2 QB from the 2019 draft), but they should know better than to bet the Second Overall pick on a QB whose effectiveness will be significantly diminished following injury.
Lol - this is not a Washington move & Rivera is not Bruce Allen (& remember Snyder handpicked Haskins) - this is a PFF pick. These guys are clowns & are just plain stupid to listen to all of the misdirection that teams throw out this time of year. Tua is not going to the Redskins.
@@v2micca Haskins had no coaching really, no O line, one receiver and AP running the ball. The young guys who succeed at QB like Jackson and Mahomes have solid teams starting with coaching and systems.
They going off wrong information. The Redskins very told Tua they were interested. They not drafting a QB that’s had 4 surgeries in less than two years. Especially when you got a QB who was the 7th highest rated QB the last month of the season in which PFF ranked him. The last 3 games for Haskins he threw for 564 yards 5 TDs and 1 Int one a 67 completion percentage. They have a solid coaching staff now and defensive minds in both Rivera and Del Rio they are definitely taking chase young just like Del Rio took Julius peppers with the second pic back in 2002.
Yeah I think Lawrence and Field are better prospects than Haskins, Burrow, and Tua. Take Young this year, if Haskins doesn't work out (I think he will), then get Lawrence or Fields next year.
I know right. Obviously Washington wants trade down in the draft an accumulate picks. They have a lot of needs to fill and must not value Chase Young too much higher than some of the other top edge rushers in this draft (Young's production in the back half of the year is probably why). So if they can convince any of these other QB thirsty teams that instead of jumping to the 3rd pick (Detroit) in the draft to get Tua, they would need to instead jump to the 2nd pick to guarantee themselves Tua. I'm surprised that PFF actually believes that Washington would pull what Arizona did last year and draft another 1st round QB. I think that the probability of that happening is less than 1%, if Washington stays at the 2nd pick it's not going to be a QB.
@@shaed1298 None of the other team scouts or GMs honestly think that Washington is taking Tua. To paraphrase what a rival GM said, "It's smart really, if you can entice another club to give you 3 1sts for the 2nd, then you take it because it's game changing capital. If not, you draft Chase Young and feel damn good about it."
I wouldn’t put much stock in anything PFF says. In April of last year, B Murphy, J Tillery & D Haskins were in their top 10. If I remember correctly, Arcega-Whiteside & A Isabella were their 3 & 4th-rated receiver’s AND, Daniel Jones, Josh Jacobs, Jonathan Abram & Deebo Samuel weren’t even in their top 50. They’re fairly clueless, really.
@Eram Ahmed they literally said LSU repeatedly and had him in an LSU jersey. Sounds like someone got distracted and wrote the wrong school and it didn't get checked
@Eram Ahmed Lmao, he literally said someone probably just entered it wrong in his comment, maybe actually read people's comments before calling them dumb fucking morons, you dumb fucking moron. His point was that they clearly know what school he's from, they just made a small mistake when entering the school name
@Eram Ahmed it's funny he's bashing PFF for being clowns that don't know the school the player went to. Yet this stupid fuck can't even read the comment of the other person he's trying to shit on. What a stupid chode. Lol!
Then why are they meeting with him and will be there on the 20th and show interest in him? If Tua does real well on the 20th ( work out ) look for his stock to realy rise just face facts dweeb Haskins is not that good and keep in mind Arizona already drafted their quarterback of the future and then turned around and drafted Kyler Murray
Mommy Dolly they also interviewed Burrow but they know they not getting him. They have the 2nd pick it’s called due diligence. It happens every year. Teams interview players they know they aren’t taking.
Very intriguing i enjoyed the explanations of each player quite well. Fast and descriptive, some interesting choices are made considering a teams needs. Allot will play out and change before then but this is excellent work by you guys 👉👍👈
For real. Redskins ain’t taking tua over young, dolphins are higher on love than Herbert, no way epeneza falls to 26, Ravens take Kenneth Murray 100% if he’s there, eagles ain’t taking no damn Tcu over Jefferson, and no way trevon diggs falls out of the first round
Tua isn't going to the redskins. They would never pass up on a generational talent like Chase young. They have Haskins and are willing to roll with him. Besides, if he fails there are better QBs next year if the redskins do poorly.
The Redskins GMs don't make the picks. Unless they got a new owner, I'm fairly sure the same regime drafted Haskins. Trying to support your pick of Tua at #2 with the ol "this regime didn't draft Haskins" would fly with almost any other team, but not with Washington.
Judging by these comments, some people are gonna be mad as hell next month haha, a lot of this mock isnt exactly outlandish. Outlandish is a guy I thought was a 3rd round qb in Daniel jones being drafted with the 6th pick
Exactly these dudes smoking if they think hes making it past 28 he wants to play for the ravens bad his idol is ray Lewis they must didnt see his interview about ravens picking him
Cowboys Y’all delpits slide in play this year was pretty alarming despite him being penciled in for the Thorpe before the season even began. Duggar is no slouch and small school prospects have definitely become more fashionable and successful lately
It's me, Hispanic Oprah no doubt, but I also remember my Cowboys saying the same thing with JJ Wilcox. RB/DB from small school, very talented athletically but turned out to be below average nfl safety. I like dugger just not before Delpit. Delpit did play injured last year I thought as well.
Cowboys Y’all I wouldn’t mind a corner, Fulton is really good. I’ve just been in love with Xavier McKinney from Bama, he can do anything at a really good leader and can make an impact in day 1, but with us likely not resigning Byron corner would be a huge priority.
caleb queen I love him too, he’s my #1 safety. If he was the pick I’d be happy! I want a cb but a very good safety can make Cbs look better and the more mocks I’ve done the more I see better Cbs left in the 2nd than safeties. So going safety first might be better. Hey bro can you subscribe to my page if you’re a Cowboys fan?
The ravens are definitely not taking a safety I see ravens going 3 ways in this draft MLB, WR, or edge rusher and they are crazy if they think Kenneth murray is making it past pick 28 and he wants to play for ravens said his idol is ray lewis
yeah that's a horrible pick. They say he would be moved to ILB but there's no way in hell the Ravens play a 217 lb dude at LB...that's just not gonna happen. Why not give them Murray if you're going ILB?Personally I'd go pass rusher or oline for the Ravens in the 1st unless somebody you didn't expect to be there drops in our lap.I definitely wouldn't draft this Dugger kid over Murray or Denzel Mims.Hell,I'd take the guard from Fresno St before I took Dugger. This is just an awful pick.
Not sure why this one took so long to pop up on my front screen, almost went looking for it, but finally my first PFF draft video this year. Of course I will be watching closing from now on till the draft.
probably the worst pick of this whole mock, just a complete over draft and letting massive needs and better players slide by? Lol Shenault and Reagor in the first round is also laughable but I guess we'll see. I dont see them going in the first though
Facts. We have the best secondary in the league why would we take him in the first? If for some reason we drafted a Safety at 28, then it would be Delpit.
Mahrke Mason hell no we don’t, Injury prone as all hell. Not as fast as we need (granted he was injured which just plays into my point anyway) mimms or Jefferson are the realistic fits, or Ruggs if he slips.
Stop with the Jefferson talk. We don't need another slot receiver when we have Goedert and Ertz in gun. We need a competent burner on the outside to take over for Jackson after he's gone. Reagor and Aiyuk are the best options for us at 21.
@@mathewbreh3081 You clearly haven't watched full games of these guys. When you watch them you can see that they are incredibly agile and have the burners to play on the outside. The combine only goes so far dude.
Lucas Girmachew Taking him at 21 is a overdraft, we could trade back and get him, itd be like drafting Nelson all over again. But also Jefferson is basically a guaranteed number 1 with low bust potential and he’s worth that pick....
Jags haven't had a great DT since Marcus Stroud an John Henderson. Derrick Brown could for sure plug right in an take flight with Taven,Allen an Calais. With rotating Smoot an Abry Jones..or maybe we get a good vet in free agency. Bold Prediction. Simmons from Clemson all day my opinion if there at 9...🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@Lee86THUNDER Hmmm that is a well thought-out, lucid, coherent response to my ridiculous comment. Oh you are a crafty one, you magnificent son of a bitch.
Why are people not sold on Tua to the Redskins? Haskins had a Rosen-esque rookie year last year and there is an entirely new staff coming in who didn’t draft him. It’s literally the same situation the Cardinals were in last year
I don’t see Wash passing on Young. They’ve got plenty of cap, they’re in rebuild, and there’s quite a bit of QBs out there. Not a whole lot of franchise EDGE... Giants are trading back as well
The ravens are not drafting a Safety in the first round. We Earl Thomas and Chuck Clark on multi year deals. We need pass rushers, an off ball MLB and another WR on the other side of Hollywood. I’d rather them take Higgins, Gross-Matos, Okwara or if it had to be a safety Delpit. I’d rather a trade back then the pick you guys have them making. PFF never does a good job lock-in for the Ravens.
The only thing they do is make themselves look stupid when they talk about the Ravens. They have a 25.3 grade on anything they say regarding them. The lamar stuff alone is frighteningly bad.
The Seahawks are NOT picking a cornerback in the first round! They draft low round cornerbacks and train them up to be starters. Why do all of these mock drafts keep mocking them with a cornerback?
Emerson I agree not just cause I’m a packer fan but cause they need a corner next to slay he never had a partner in crime and they might trade him plus they need interior linemen
@@Tone2whaaaa yeah but the best GMs don't draft off need they draft off talent that's available. If both things intersect then great otherwise you still make your team better.
Scotty Haines yea I get what u mean , it’s different ways u can draft ! I was just saying we don’t need a safety even if he’s the best dude at that time !
@xxMASTERMINDxx well I have watched him play and I wouldn't necessarily say he got dominated. I believe Murray's a better mlb. Besides queen had a way better line and supporting cast to run with.
Are you guys crazy? 3 picks for the Dolphins and no OL? I think there is more of a chance that they take 2 OL than they exit the first round with no OL.
#26-29 are day two picks. At best they are a stretch....High floor doesn't usually rate as high as high ceiling. That depends on the coaching staff.....See Mahomes....wasn't considered better than 3rd or 4th QB in his draft.
Taking a swing on a QB makes sense but often times guys need at least two years (especially if a supporting staff is being pieced together around him) before you really find out about him. Kicking Haskins out like they did Rosen seems a little hasty to me.
Now I've seen this take 3-4 times. "WAS has to pick Tua" ... "DET picks at #3, they CAN'T PASS-UP Chase Young!!" ... So why did WAS pass-up Young in your scenario? Why couldn't WAS pick Lawrence next year or anyone else that QB class?
I hate how y’all push the “keep swinging the bat narrative”. It doesn’t always apply! I don’t care if the QB has a higher grade coming out. Haskins is good enough QB and showed enough last year to warrant a couple more years before the franchise decided to move on. I love how y’all put numbers to the evaluation process but you have to also include context to the discussion when doing your evaluation. Sort of how everyone does when justifying the Jordan Love hype. There was almost a zero chance of success in Dwaynes first few games. His last few games are a much clearly picture of what he’s capable of and what you’re looking to build on. Washington should NOT take Tua with the number 2 pick...
Nope. Snyder won't give up on Haskins. Plus they still have Alex Smith. They'll either trade to the Dolphins or take Chase Young. Stop trying to outsmart yourselves. Dolphins wont reach for a QB here just like they didnt reach for a QB last year. If this was the situation, they clearly go Jeff Okudah or an Edge rusher. They wont spend a first round pick in the top 5 on a second round QB. It's not like they're the Giants.
Preety sure the Eagles are going to try to trade up to the 9, 10, 11 or 12 spot to grab either Ruggs, Jeudy or Lamb. That would make the most sense given they are projexted to have 10 picks. They should use their 1st and 2nd round picks on the best WRs they can get since they literally have the worst WR corp in the NFL right now
Signed Earl Thomas last offseason and just gave Chuck Clark a new contract. FIRST round and the Ravens go saftey? Even with best player available mentality they would go elsewhere.
I need to study Patrick queen a little more. I'm familiar with him but not totally sold based on the small sample size. My raiders are notorious for flopping on linebackers. The only one we have hit on in a long time is Kirk Morrison an of course Khalil mack but I don't count him as a linebacker
With Jack Del Rio as DC I dont see them taking anyone but young, and haskins isnt that bad when everyone thought the giants were going to take him to sit behind eli for a year. If haskins ends up not working out its be better to get Lawrence or fields anyway
I’m obviously a Dolphins fan and I’m not gonna sit here on my couch with no connections to the NFL and not having actually spoken to anyone on the team and tell you that you’re smoking crack with our picks, but I will say god damn I hope you are. If we get out of the first round without having used a single pick on o-line, I’m smashing things in my house.
