No way Dallas are trading up and to take a safety!!!! I could see them trading down to get a safety or trading up with 49ers to get back into the 1st round with their 2nd and possible a 3rd or 4th round pick. Dallas need to hit a homerun with this draft. 2 round 1 picks could get them a A draft grade if they are smart.
Isaiah Nagurski if they’re gonna draft a QB, just draft Tua at 3 and let him sit behind Stafford for a year, then trade Stafford to the Patriots after tommy retires after the season 🤔🤯
@@2160michael there's an argument to be made that the gap between the injury concern Tua and Jordan Love, long-term, is not as wide as the gap between the OSU elite corner, and whatever defender they would settle for taking at the bottom half of the first round if they drafted Tua.
Would you rather keep the first rounder and not get Tua? Because if Tua checks out physically, the Chargers, Panthers, or Raiders are 100% gonna trade with the Lions for Tua.
M R agreed....I won't quit being a fan but I agree with the sentiment. It will not and should not cost two first round picks to move up TWO spots. I'm sure they know this but just got lazy with their analysis
Jonathan Yaney only cause we have 2 1st round picks next year also, I think we(dolphins) should keep all 3 this year and take what is best available and either spend money for a qb or play fitz another year. If they trade up, I won’t mind, but we need a lot still other than qb. Oline, dline, safety, rb.
I got confused at first too but what happened was that miami (3 first rounders) traded their 26th pick and 5th pick to the lions for the 3rd pick then the lions traded the 26th pick to the bills (i assume for a 2nd rounder).
Thank you for the work guys!! Lions fan here, so wanted to point out their GM & head coach need to win this year to keep their jobs, so don't forsee them using pick #22 on a QB that won't play in 2020. The trade down to #5 and Okuda pick is exactly what I'm seeing as their goal though.
Why would the cowboys move up 4 spots in the draft to get a player that's gonna be there at 17!? That don't make any sense!! I don't think these people know what they're talking about
THIS WOULD BE INSANE 1. QB Joe Burrow - Miami (Cincinnati) 2. EDGE Chase Young - Washington 3. QB Tua Tagovailoa - Las Vegas (Detroit) 4. OL Jedrick Wills Jr - Giants 5. LB Isaiah Simmons - Cincinnati (Miami) 6. QB Justin Herbert - Indianapolis (LAC) 7. OL Andrew Thomas - Carolina 8. WR Jerry Jeudy - Arizona 9. CB Jeffrey Okudah - Jacksonville 10. OL Josh Jones - Cleveland 11. WR CeeDee Lamb - NYJ 12. EDGE AJ Epenesa - Detroit (Las Vegas) 13. DL Derrick Brown - LAC (Indianapolis) 14. CB Kristian Fulton - Tampa Bay 15. DL Javon Kinlaw - Denver 16. EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson - Atlanta 17. S Xavier McKinney - Dallas 18. OL Mekhi Becton - Cincinnati (Miami) 19. OL Tristan Wirfs - Detroit (Las Vegas) 20. WR Tee Higgins - Jacksonville 21. WR Henry Ruggs III - Philadelphia 22. WR Laviska Shenault - Buffalo 23. EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos - Baltimore (New England) 24. CB CJ Henderson - New Orleans 25. DL Marlon Davidson - Minnesota 26. QB Jordan Love - Cincinnati (Miami) 27. CB Trevon Diggs - Seattle 28. S Grant Delpit - New England (Baltimore) 29. DL Julian Okwara - Tennessee 30. LB Kenneth Murray - Green Bay 31. OL Austin Jackson - San Francisco 32. CB Bryce Hall - Kansas City
Staley's getting closer and closer to retirement and for a team that don't have too many needs on either side of the ball, adding depth to tackle can't hurt
Matt Dunn were probably going to draft either a corner or a safety, since we may have to let jimmy ward walk. If he does, well need a safety, unless Sherman elects to move to safety, in which case it would be a good idea to draft a corner. This way we have good depth at basically every position.
I think he is one of the safest picks in this draft. I see him in the same level of Derwin James: A versatile S/LB who will shine in any position he needed to play.
@@jayk8756 The Lions play very man heavy on the secondary(like NE). Slay is a good CB. The second outside CB isn't so the entire sceme doesn't work well. Add Okudah and they have 2 good CB.
What type of brain hemorrhage did you have to think the Cowboys would trade up for Xavier McKinney? I’m honestly serious because that’s is down right silly. They could sit at 17 and get him or Delpit. If their trading for a higher pick its for Derrick brown if he slips down or for Kinlaw.
I see why you guys keep mocking a corner to the Falcons, but they literally have only 1 edge rusher on the roster. Talk is the only one, and that's it. Edge is a bigger need for them than corner right now.
Dolphins, Chargers, Panthers, Raiders, Patriots, possibly Titans, Saints, Bucs, and dare i say Niners could all be in the QB hunt and want to trade to #3 to get Tua at #3. I say this to Dolphins fans who thing Tua will drop to them, it's not going to happen Tua is an extremely talented QB even with a hip injury you don't let a franchise QB drop. The Lions will get some big offers from teams looking to trade up and if I were the Dolphins I would give them an extra 1st pick. Teams will most likely give them a first this year and next if the Dolphins don't budge. Miami needs a QB I honestly believe they won't pass up this opportunity to get a QB a good QB.
There is 0 chance the Packers pick a LB in the first. I think that's probably our second or third round pick. Our offense was anemic this year and lacked weapons. Our last first round pick on offense was in 2011! That side of the ball will be addressed...
Nathan Nelson right now we have 0 ILB’s on the roster other than Burks and we don’t want him to be our starter considering he can’t stay healthy, and even when he is, he barely plays. I’m perfectly content with us going ILB in the first, and then going WR WR in the 2nd and 3rd, unless we think we can get Troy Dye in the second. That is unless we have Shenault or Lamb drop to us at 30
Loved the Mims to Buffalo 👌🏻 thoughtful pick and a solid fit for the Bills. We are finally a couple pieces away from a solid squad. And yes full Josh Allen believer here
They are a well put together and coached squad. Not fancy. Not outstanding talented. But good enough to win a lot of games and to be a taff opponent for almost any team.
I know you may think Im talking out my behind. However, I think Everson Griffen used to play DT with Jared Allen? Sooo.. the idea Zimmer played musical lineman during Saints game might give a hint. If, I mean IF the Viking go DL in the first round. It will be a young defensive end to take the place of Griffen. But the wont! They will be short on CB and will take Diggs in your scenario.
There's a fire sale going down in the north woods to recover cap space....they've left themselves in a spot...and that whole 1st Rd 5 year effort to get a solid DB corp is toast....Look out.
I like the mock overall but disagree with the Cowboys. If they stay at #17 I could definitely see us taking McKinney. If we trade up imo it’ll be for a Derrick Brown, maybe even a few spots up for Kinlaw. I’m confident if they stay put at #17 McKinney and/or Delpit would still be there.
Why even make a mock if your just going to copy what Mel Kiper and Todd McShay have p.s. come on guys you do trades in your Mock and you don't even say what the other teams get in return!
Simmons is gonna have one of the best overall combines any player has had at LB! He is gonna go up on team draft boards like players that shined at the Senior Bowl. It’s gonna be hard for Detroit to pass on him unless Okueda runs a low 4.3 40 at the combine.
I'd be Thrilled if Lions got Akudah at 5 and got another 1st to go down but it won't happen Everyone knows the Lions don't need a QB in 1st Round with Stafford Back Maybe 4th Round
I agree I don't see Detroit drafting a QB in round one when they have other obvious needs. There's nobody in this draft that's gonna be better than Stafford except for maybe Burrow or Tua in time. You never know, of course, who will be good or not. But Detriot isn't gonna pick Love when they could win with Stafford (if healthy) and fill other holes.
That's the magical part about being Detroit this year. For some reason, no one thinks the Redskins wold ever trade back. So, while the Dolphins, Raiders, and Jaguars all had to trade top shelf talent to get their extra first rounders, you can get your extra first by creating a bidding war. Even if people know you don't need a QB, if more than one team is sold on Tua then the price to trade up keeps getting pushed up. It's not about other teams getting the best deal from you, it's about teams proposing a better deal than every other team. I'm a Colts fan and I'd love to get Tua, but it'd take two firsts and a third at the minimum to move from 13 to 3. The Dolphins have to match that value, so two first rounders would do it with them at 5 and us at 13. You're in a beautiful spot.
I believe the ideal offseason for the Raiders would be to solve the linebacker issue in free agency, and resign Karl Joseph (and maybe sign Ronald Darby). Then draft Ceedee Lamb and Javon Kinlaw in the first. And Jalen Hurts in the third and have him sit behind Carr for a year.
No way Colts trade back and give up Kinslaw (DT 3Tech) to take Epenesa (DE). The have 4 quality DE. Alot depends on if Colts need a LT if Ballard trades back.
Kinlaw would be tough to pass up but Ballard does love extra draft picks. He could also sign a DT like DJ Reader in Free Agency though. Castonzo is the wild card. Ballard could draft a tackle even if Castonzo resigns, just to groom him for 1-2 years.
I’m a colts fan and depending on what the return is my guess would 17th and 2 2nd rounders they’d be dumb not to trade back I would take epenesa I’d rather them go after tee Higgins or Jordan love or CJ Henderson if they don’t get Byron Jones in FA
@@yaboydevein1234 If you look at a trade value chart moving back(13 to 17) would only get you a 3rd rounder. The Colts have "good" players. They need game changers/playmakers now. Ballard is on record saying the 3tech drives the defense the Colts play, so if Kinslaw is there you have to take him. I expect the Colts to draft DT, LT, WR with the first 3 picks and Anthony Gordon QB (Wash. State) with the 3rd or 4th pick and develop him. I also like Jake Luton QB (Oregon St) as my sleeper (6th round). If Love makes it to the 2nd round I would draft him (34th) and then go LT (44th) then Claypool from ND WR (75th) with the 3rd round pick. He ran a 4.40 40 yard dash at the combine. 6' 4 229 lbs and can play special teams which is big.
Michael Jones Claypool is deff solid, but I don’t see the colts moving back for only a 3rd. The only way I truly see them moving back is for 17th and 2 or more 2nd rounders. I like Gordon too or Davidson from Princeton. Also as an Ohio state fan I have to love KJ Hill he’s a great leader and is so reliable and with his testing he could drop to the 4-5 round but play like a 2nd rounder
I'm a Colts fan and I don't love the trade because, as the video says it would be cheap for the Cowboys, they are getting a third rounder, at best, to trade out of a high quality player since there are like 15 blue chip players. It's not enough unless Ballard is trading back for Jordan Love and still believes Love will be there at 17. As long as the Colts pick before New Orleans and New England, I'm not worried about Love not being there. If the Colts are gonna trade back, I'd rather they trade back with the Bills or Eagles who would reasonably move up to get a Jeudy or a Lamb. Plus, if the Bills or Eagles trade up, either team is gonna have to give up a second round pick and the Colts could still easily get Jordan Love at 21 or 22. If Ballard is gonna trade back, it's gonna be a Quenton Nelson/Rock Ya-sin situation where he knows they are gonna get the guy Ballard wants with their next pick anyways. If the Colts trade back, it's because Ballard believes his guy will be wherever he trades back to. The only two realistic options the Colts would take are 1. Staying put and taking an elite talent like a Jeudy, Lamb, Kinlaw, Wirfs, etc. or 2. Trade back for Jordan Love, who shouldn't go as high as the first round but a team like the Saints or the Patriots with a veteran QB would take him if he fell to them. If you know the Colts, I don't think this trade with the Cowboys happens because there isn't enough compensation (since the video states the Colts move back for cheap and Ballard is on the record saying he has rejected multiple trades for the Colts' premium picks because the compensation wasn't there). I don't hate Epenesa, but I think this shows a lack of understanding of how Ballard drafts.
Jonathan Yaney I don’t really get why the Cowboys would need to trade up to get Xavier McKinney anyways. Absolutely love him as a player but he’s gonna be there at 17.
Jonathan Yaney I’m a colts fan as well, I definitely see us trading back if kinlaw or brown is gone by 13, I don’t think Ballard is sold on any qb that would be there for us & we have bigger needs than a qb. I can see him trading back n getting Ruggs from Clemson or getting a Te who can stretch the field.
@@jamesjennings8157 I think you have Tee and Ruggs backwards but I agree. Honestly, I could see Ballard evaluating Trevor Lawerence and Justin Fields and deciding if he would rather have sell the farm for Tua or one of them next year because trading back in a deep draft class or grabbing potentially the next Aaron Donald (current NFL comp, don't crucify me) in Kinlaw would be super nice in the here and now. My old roommates and I had/have a saying from back in college: in Ballard we trust. I can put on my gm hat all I want, but Chris Ballard is smarter than me and nearly everyone else drafting. He might miss on some guys, but if you give him the draft capital, he can and will hit on picks in a big way. He's already drafted more hall of famers than Grigson and he didn't even have a first overall pick to draft the biggest no duh qb prospect since Ellway. I love speculating, but Ballard will draft some next level players. In Ballard we trust.
Jonathan Yaney I want kinlaw that’s who I hope Ballard gets. That would do our whole defensive into a service, corners don’t have to cover as long, Houston Turray & Bango wouldn’t face double teams. & our lb core wouldn’t have to take on those guards coming to second level n the run game, cause although our lb’s are good n fast they get trampled sometimes in the run game by those guards getting to second level.
@@jamesjennings8157 I think Kinlaw is the best fit for our team of anyone who would realistically fall to us (Burrow, Tua, Okudah, Simmons, and Brown would also all fit what we are doing but they're all gone before we pick) seeing as Ballard is very vocal about needing an elite 3 technique. If Ballard doesn't get a 3 tech in free agency, I think Kinlaw is what would tempt us away from taking a Love or Jeudy.
i like this mock right here...KENNETH MURRAY AT 30 for the Packers...that takes care of one of the needs, but I think they need to add another explosive player on the d-line, next to Kenny Clark, Lancaster is a back up player at best.
To secure the pick from Lions trading down to Tampa and them drafting Tua for example, but I do agree that Dolphins dont do that, they like Herbert as well and there is no way both Lions and Giants trade down with Okudah available, a player both teams(Giants and Lions) would love to havre.
caleb queen right eccspecially with them having Delpit fall so far.. sounds like most teams have a similar grade on those two.. I wouldn’t trade up for a safety.
I could see Grant Delpit getting picked up in the 1st by New England I have a feeling Belichick is going to get Laviska Shenault Jr or K Lavon Chaisson Idk man Belichick be throwing curve balls
I cant see the Dolphins trading up for Tua, when they can still get him at 5, Giants already drafted Daniel Jones, and Detroit still have Stafford at least for this year. So I just dont see a point.
Because as they said like a million times, this what they THINK teams will do not what they should do. Giants have been rumored to be high on wills so they think they might take him there
Dan Martin im sure he's better attitude wise. He throws the ball with lack of velocity . He won't make tight window throws. He had the best receivers in football. Look at his junior year when defenses were better. 55%.
At 28 the Ravens need a Edge Rusher or pressure inside. They reason they blitz so much is because they lack pressure to the QB. They can address LB later.
I dont judge any mock draft it interesting to see difference of opinion but all mocks are redone after tag deadline the again after free agency at this point I take notes.
You know it's not going to cost the Dolphins 2 first round picks to move up 2 spots so why even suggest it? The 5th pick and their first in the 3rd would do it according to the point system.......(they shouldn't and wouldn't give up any better than their last pick in the second).
It cost the Bears a fuck ton to move up 1 spot to draft Trubisky, the reason it would cost a lot is because teams like the Chargers or Panthers could easily offer more than just a 1st and a 3rd to move in front of the Dolphins and steal Tua It’s not about the cost, it’s about outbidding everyone else, if Tua is their guy then they’re gonna have to make sure nobody else snatches him
I think the Packers could just as easily go for a bigger splash type player and go for a wide receiver if one is available. They need something to put them over the hump and could get a linebacker later on.
Bills are not trading down wtf, if anything we're going to trade up this year. We have a lot of money in FA, not a lot of holes, a few extra picks already and Beane said he doesn't want to draft anyone who doesn't have a chance at making the roster.
Do a round 2-3 mock draft...these round 1 mock drafts are getting ridiculous. It’s just shuffling the names around...we all know the names, but I wanna know more of the 2nd/3rd rounders
FINALLY, someone finally understands Chris Ballard. Hes not going to take Jordan Love at 13 like everyone else thinks. This is more likely. I love it. Thank you!
🙄 I know they have to do their daily Cowboy hot take, but it’s no way we’re trading up for Xavier McKinney with Kinlaw and the best safety Delpit on the the board. It’s not their philosophy to lose a valuable second round pick. If that was their thinking we’d have Derwin James and not LVE in ‘18.
For the Giants it has to be either Clemson LB Isaiah Simmons or Alabama OT Jedrick Wills. Tackles Thomas & Beton are either raw, not very athletic and/or mediocre technically. They could be good or more after some development and work, but taking one of them at 4 is too risky when there are better players available like the two I mentioned. As good as Okudah is, the Giants took 3 corners in last years draft so I think I, like most Giants fans would flip out if the Gmen take a corner at pick 4. The Giants should take the BPA but our most glaring needs are Oline, linebacker and pass rushers, not corner. The Giants could certainly use a young veteran corner who could help our young DBs grow.
I dont think Browns take an OT in top 10 that doesnt belong there. They are trading down if the other 2 OT are gone or if one of the true top 10 players arent there especially if Tua or Herbert is still there.
First mock I have seen where the Niners aren't taking a WR. LOVE IT, lol. Although I really do they they will trade down. Also, I know Minny got shredded by the Niners run game but their O-line is not very good. I would tend to think that they need to protect their statue back there.
The Niners would be smart to just develop Daniel Brunskill who played great, Joe Staley mised half the regular season and Brunskill played very well, Justin Skule was solid. With that pick they could replace whoever they lose in FA, Arik Armstead or Jimmie Ward.
Yeah if someone wants to hop back in the 1st round then give the niners their 2nd and 3 rd round picks, BUT if one of the 4 wide receivers or delpit,McKinney or somehow diggs falls to that spot we are jumping all over that!!! We need one of those fast ass receivers to take the top off defenses and we need a CB or safety
The patriots drafted a day 1 wr last year, 1st round rb the year before that, traded a 2nd rounder for sanu, Josh Gordon failed, and ab failed does anyone honestly think Bill will triple down on more draft capital with a wr day one pick this year again uhh probably not. If delpit is on the board and you don’t think bill will take that chess piece you’re crazy.
Cuz he was a top 10 scouts inc talent before he forgot how to tackle, but he showed out picking up route combinations like a ballhawk in NCAA championship game better than even Isaiah Simmons.
god i hope he does. the eagles will trade picks to move up tp get him. we have 10 picks most in the first 3 rounds it would be amazing if we didnt have to give them up to get the guy we all want.
Idk guys, I get NE is in need of safety help but the receiving core seems lacking. I can see them grabbing Laviska over Delpit to try and give Brady (or whoever is actually playing under center) that replacement for Gronk they were trying to find all year
Panthers work out a trade with the chargers to trade up. Give them Cam, so they can take Herbert. The panthers can build around their future, Chargers can win now.
If Shenault and Murray are both gone I wouldn't put it past GB to trade back out of the first if they can add 2 second round picks. Plenty of second round talent at wr there
ATL needs help in Front 7(Edge Rush) more than Backend with 1st rnd pick... so unless Clowney signs a 1-yr prove it deal, we need a rusher more than Cornerback
LOVE: 1. Davidson pick 2. Baun to BAL scheme fit is perfect Minor disagreements: 1. Henderson over Fulton 2. Ruggs over Higgins, especially in Jacksonville HATE: 1. Zero chance Chaisson gets past the 20th pick 2. Mims does not belong no where near the 1st
Lions take Herbert, Stafford to the Raiders. Jags take Judy at WR, Maybe Broncos take Easton. P.Rivers to either the jags or bucks. Brady to the Chargers. Winston to the Colts. My 2 cents on the off-season.
You seriously think the Dolphins will give up one of their first round picks to move up 2 spots? They're keep all three. If the Lions trade and Tua goes to someone else, the Dolphins will take Herbert. Or, they'll wait until next year. But they wont give up a cherished first round pick.
As a chargers fan is Justin Herbert that good everybody says it would be a blessing if the chargers get him but is he that franchise guy because if he ain’t that assured franchise qb then I hope they just take Isaiah Simmons
Snakeye808 bro i hope you realize that you be posting garbage beats in get like 10 views and 8 dislikes and bro you should go to school because music ain’t gonna work out a 5 year old has better beats than your garbage
I'm confused as to why the Dolphins would trade up with Detroit for Tua. The Giants just drafted a QB so, drafting Tua doesn't make sense to me. Unless, they're buying the hype that Detroit would draft Tua.
Bro why tf would the pats use their first round pick for a Safety. They literally had one of the best secondaries in the league and the pats really need people on the O line or a TE
I think the Patriots are a sneaky team to watch out for in this draft. They don't often pick at 23. If they see a QB that they like start to fall out of the top 10, I think Bill might just pull the trigger and trade a 3rd and his first for a mid round pick and grab his guy for the foreseeable future. Or, if he sees an offensive lineman that he really likes, he might do something similar. Otherwise, I could totally see him drafting a safety with the ability to "erase" your opponent's TE. Many of the top teams over the last few years have utilized TE's to dictate coverages to their opponents. The Patriots with Gronk, the Chiefs with Kelce, the 49ers with Kittle, the Ravens have 2 or three good TE's, the Eagles with Ertz and Goedert.... I think Bill would be salivating at the opportunity to eliminate his opponent's QB's security blanket.
Joshua Sipple the thing is we already have a really good defense its not like we have an ok defense with a decent offense we had one of the best defenses of the league but had like one of the worst offenses. Tbh outside of joe and tua there arent any great QBs that really stand out but we need offensive weapons and wasting a first on a safety that we are already stacked on wouldnt make sense.
Silly question, but do you think the bengals possibly sign and trade AJ Green for a first round pick, trade Andy Dalton, Tyler Eifert, Dre Kirkpatrick, Darquez Dennard or some other players to try and position themselves with more picks?
sorry but I really doubt the NE Pats are going to draft anyone on the defensive side of the ball. Did you see their Offense this year? I can't believe you did if you believe they are going defense with their first pick. In fact, I would bet Bill trades out this to try to get additional picks in either the second and third rounds.
Why do they have Baun going to the Ravens at 28 when they need inside linebackers? Littleton and either Murray or Queen would put the Ravens inside defense back to No.1 And pick up a Ryan Nassib to go along with Judon or if Kerrigan is let go he would be a good fit.
I think that the Atlanta falcons should get somebody like Tua Tagavailola in the draft, if they can't get Johnny Manziel in free agency. Plus if the Miami Dolphins trade with the Atlanta Falcons in the draft to get Tua Tagavailola in the NFL draft they would get somebody like Tua Tagavailola in the NFL draft for Miami to get Joe Burrow for the Cincinnati Bengals to get a widereciever in the first round.

TyeNostrodomus their secondary is ass and is the reason they lose games, you can get a good wr in the second round too, way more depth than CB, so why take the risk and draft a WR who’ll only get 3 looks a game
I’d like the redskins to get aggressive and trade Kerrigan for a second, or trade Kerrigan and our next years second to jump back into the first round like we did last year with sweat. I think that was a successful move and would make a huge statement with that replication. If we did jump back into the first round we could pick up a total steal. Grant delpit, diggs, Xavier McKinney, laviska shenault, tee Higgins, ect are just some of players we could jump up and get to build on our rebuild.
If the Broncos move on from Chris Harris, Jr. I can see Henderson or Diggs getting the nod for Denver. They need youth at cornerback and taking a corner makes sense in terms of depth with young unknowns on the roster and questions about Callahan’s health. They had quite a few injuries at corner.
PFF simply doesn't pay attention to the Bills. 1: Beane has never, and by never I mean not one time, traded down ever. 2: the Bills have 9 picks, they're not going to accumulate more. 3: Henry Ruggs, Tee Higgins, CeeDee lamb are available at 14-16, Beane is trading up, period, end of story. Bills have traded up 6 times since Beane came in. Renner has an anti-Bills bias.
