As an ACC fan it was very apparent the two best teams played in the championship game. After having watched Purdue's post game conference as well, I have much respect for their guys and coach. Other teams should strive to have this much class!

He blames himself but holy cow...he went 37/10 on 60% shooting. That is insane at the college level. Absolutely insane. Love the attitude but still. Clingan was the biggest and toughest individual defensive assignment he's ever seen and he still put up 16 just in the first half. He's just been so dominant that I think he desensitized a lot of people...maybe even himself...to the sorts of numbers he put up. Anyone saying he won't find success in the NBA is out of their mind.
If the other players found a way to keep it close with 5 minutes left by rebounding, shooting, or not turning it over, Edey would've won it after his defenders got in foul trouble. After seeing how Edey-centric the team was this year, we'll be back to first and second round exits next year.
He was great for most of the first half with 16 points. Most of his 2nd half scoring were garbage time points, the game was well in hand and Uconn was happy to give him 2 points without fouling and staying home on the 3 paint shooters He had about 3 open dunks with seconds left in the game. That being said, if there isn't a place in the NBA for a guy this bug and skilled in the post who actually makes his free throws then something is wrong with the NBA.
With each class the foundation is getting more solid. This young man was certainly the concrete that didn’t crack or break despite all the hate toward him. He’s a class act through and through. I’m glad to be an alumnus and to have witnessed two NPOY’s, great teams and great coaches with more to come. This young man will go many places. His stats in this game is the definition of empty stats. When this game was in the balance in the 2nd half he didnt get anything done. He also has refs in his pockets he get away with a lot.
Get over it man. If he was bad nobody would talk about him. Instead you run around bad mouthing a kid who works his tail off and carried his team to two great seasons. You’re a joke.
Damn what a special player and human being. I hope only positive things for him in the future.
