POST COVID LUNG FIBROSIS 

Have few questions Dr sir .. 1) Is there any study who has details of prevalence of lungs fibrosis amongs post covid infected people's? 2)As we heard from post covid infected people that lungs capacity has been reduced ? 3) with the infections of covid 19, do any one have high chance to get the lung fibrosis in later period of life? 4) if any one is known case of asthma or sinus are they having high chance of getting covid infection ? 5) known asthmatic or sinusitis patients, if they are confirm with covid 19 , so what are the estimated chances that the will get fibrosis on later period of life ?

Dr..I have undergone through HRCT and found small areas of fibrosis are noted in epical segments of bilateral upper lobes with RADS-2 .. by my RTPCR is negative and CRP is also fine with no infection.. but i have chest pain from last 2 weeks..should i go for any medicines? Dok, can you please englighten me? My hisband is now admitted in the Hospital here at qatar for almost 57 days, in ICU at ECMO machine, all vitals are stable ,nist the lungs not showing any improvment the doctor told me that he has fibrosis on his lungs for about 90% and i ask if there is any medication for that and he said only lungs transpalnt bit sad to say they didn't they don't have lung transplant procedure now. I told them.that please give my husband more time to heal his lungs because i've read lot of patient from.covid who survive...lungs really rake time to heal by its own as what they said from all the survivors, any suggestion for medicine that may help with his lungs? So that next time i talk to the consultant doctor i will suggest to them about this issue...thank u so much for the information, it really help and less the worries

Hello sir My Father in law is 63 yrs old Handicapped n parallaysed Sugar n Bp patient He was hospitalized for 15days out of which he was on ventilator for 4 days. Later doctor discharged him with 5l / min oxygen supply... now 15 days at home his oxygen requirement is almost same 3 or 4 litre per min ..in between he got detected with UTI wch we treated at home through iv treatment ... while we change cylinder we notice his saturation at 68 72 in 2 to 5 mins ..it's almost a month

Dear Sir, I had COVID 19 6 months back and suffering from breathing problems still now. As my oxygen is 74% when walking, I need to take O2 support at 4L/min. In July, I had an HRCT Scan which the doctors are telling me is normal. They have excluded other causes including PE, Cardiac Causes, Airway Causes and now they are telling me that they cannot help me any further. In this condition, I have doubts whether the HRCT Scan is really normal or not. So, could you please go through the HRCT Scan and provide me with a solution.
