Gukesh Dommaraju just 17 years old from India is leading the candidates where some of the best players in the world compete. Ngl I dont think most of the people had any expectations from him even from most Indians(sorry to say, almost 90% were rooting for Pragg). But he played with extreme determination remaining calm and composed even in difficult positions. Even if he doesnot quality I dont care. Fabi & Nepo would know if anyone has to have a realistic chance then 1 point is must. The game is definitely going to be decisive. Gukesh OTOH will be wary of overpushing against Naka. Naka however will definitely push with white & that may give Gukesh some chance of winning entire 1 point instead of just 0.5 We are heading towards two way tie break between Gukesh & Fabi/Nepo. Fabi/Nepo would be favourite to win Candidates in case of TB.
