Certainly this Candidates has been one of the best ones in years. Old and new generations clashing, just amazing chess. Great win for Gukesh, India must feel really proud. Even though I’m rooting for Hikaru, it feels right that this humble of a player has had an awesome tournament!

Fabi & Nepo would know if anyone has to have a realistic chance then 1 point is must. The game is definitely going to be decisive. Gukesh OTOH will be wary of overpushing against Naka. Naka however will definitely push with white & that may give Gukesh some chance of winning entire 1 point instead of just 0.5 We are heading towards two way tie break between Gukesh & Fabi/Nepo. Fabi/Nepo would be favourite to win Candidates in case of TB.
