7:10 Would you say you have a system of a down? I store my quilts in either the cotton storage bags or in mesh laundry bags. I use plastic tote bins for just about everything else, but I don't like the idea of putting down inside a plastic bin. Even if they aren't airtight, I feel like there is better aeration with the bags. It probably doesn't make that much difference in the end. Miranda Outside just did a similar video. She charges her electronics when she gets home because she says she forgets to charge before she leaves. I think it's supposed to be worse for your rechargeable batteries to leave them charged all the time, so I tend to plug in my electronics while I'm getting started packing. What is your preferred charging method?
14:45 Oh! Do you know about banging your Sawyer to knock more crud loose? After you backflush it, beat the filter on the palm of your hand a couple of times, then backflush it again. Seriously, if you didn't do that, go get it and try it now. You will be surprised at the extra nastiness that comes out with a second backflush. In addition to getting that yuck out of your filter because it's gross, I believe it extends the life of your filter. I have only seen that on one other channel, but I tried it and it works.
Storing outside a tote is probably better, I just don’t have room for that. I would be more concerned if my power bank sat for a month that it would lose some charge before my trip.

How do you manage a long drive after a hike or canoe trip. Ended a canoe trip in BWCA due to thunderstorms and hail NE of Ely. Played it safe and put out a day early. Portage out was grueling. Great show.
