Jay, from a guided perspective the best I have used from every standpoint is the pnuma bino harness. Has several locations that fit my iPhone max and it is the most comfortable strapped on than ever before.

Kuiu pro bino harness. I love mine. Waterproof, really lightweight, and very comfortable. They just came out with a bear spray holder and a phone case that can fit a range finder but still have a range finder pouch too.

Question for you. My NL pures measure exactly 6.75” which is the cutoff from large to XL. How tight is the fitment? Think I should size up or down?

I think the large will be fine. I have a pair of 10x42 that measure just under 6.25" and have 5/8" of the spacers underneath and everything fits great. @@MindfulHunter

Without any spacers, the back panel is a hair under 7.25" @@MindfulHunter

More etiquette needs to be taught in hunters safety. Also I found that going back to the S23 and moving away from the super mega S23Ultra phone is a god send! I'm probably never going back to the large phones. Not to mention it was $400 cheaper.

Hey mate, loved this breakdown. Have you thought about going to a liquid fuel stove instead? I’ve had enough of problems with canisters and am seriously considering the Soto Muka.

I actually just picked up a liquid fuel stove for winter use, the XGK. Looking forward to testing it out.

I have had no good merino underwear experiences. I had my hungry butt eat a pair by day 7 and the crotch was gone. Only go with Blue sky bamboo boxers now. I think its a BC clothing company

Did you mention the Kifaru harness? That phone pocket big enough? Be curious to see what you think about Stone Glacier. I assume you’ll use the DeHavilland light pants. Sportsman’s Warehouse started carrying the brand and I was surprised how thick and heavy the “lite” was.

I did not like the looks of the kifaru harness. Looked like it lacked structure. That nav pocket did look nice though. I was wondering the same thing about those pants. Guess we’ll find out.

Do you plug your solar panel directly into your phone? or Charge your battery pack then your phone?

Depends how powerful the sun is. I find the pack requires a higher draw so if it is overcast at all I will charge the devices directly.
